plastic calibration tool, stripped / broken after 1 probe attempt
try calibrating the probe, screw inside does not turn and plastic stripped. I wouldn't use these probes if they were given to me for free.

I was quite happy when these arrived to pull them out of the packaging and find that they feel very well-made for this price point. They have all the normal stuff you'd expect from probes - 360 degree rotation at the BNC, solid probe hooks, assorted colored clips, and nice long strain reliefs on either side of the cable.

The cables themselves aren't fancy silicone or anything but seem more than adequate for the task at hand - which is hobbyist use. I'm not a professional and can't speak to anything more than what I know, which is very basic usage.

But for my purposes they're quite good. I was pleasantly surprised by the general quality of the cables given how cheap they are and I haven't had any issues with them at all. I don't really expect to either.

The 100MHz Oscilloscope Probes are good quality and work nicely on our Tektronix 60MHz o-scope. Each probe set comes with the probe, a detachable clip top, a ground clip, color bands, and a tuning tool. We connected the probes to the scope, took readings from the calibration output, and used the tuning tool to adjust the probe for a nice clean square wave. The whole process took less than a minute.

These are good quality and a good value!

Highly Recommended!

I bought these for my Tektronix 2445A scope, this is an analog scope with a range of up to 150mhz so nothing too intense. These probes work perfect for it. I imagine if you're working on something that can work at +500mhz, noise sensitive projects, or other extremely fast and subtle signalling these probably aren't up to that kind of a job. I performed a few tests to make sure they were working properly, and luckily they seemed perfect out of box though I've only tested them up to 50mhz at ~100mv.

Pros.
1. Probes come in pair with ground clips and hook tips.
2. Probes are built well and feel solid
Cons.
1. Adjusting probe compensation seems to not effect anything when atten is switched to 10x
2. 10x atten does not pick up at all. One probe its open and always at 0v and the other I lose the beam on no matter the division set for voltage or time. (I dont need this for what I do , but you may).

Conclusion:
If you need a stand in, these are perfectly fine. If you need something for high frequency, or for the 10x attenuation, dont bother. It works great on my analog scope, So I assume these will work fine for most modern full digital scopes if you're just doing simple hobby stuff.

These are OK starter probes for your second hand Oscilloscope. They seem to calibrate to clean edges, and do not appear to distort the waveform at the frequencies they are designed for.

You'll probably want something better later on, but these will get you going. These would be good to have if you ever take your scope onsite or if you loan it to a friend. They are not too expensive to lose.

The ground leads are a little long, and mine didn't come with the spring grounds pictured in the manual. But I really can't complain.

I ended up getting two sets to use for SPI protocol analysis, so I can honestly say I would buy again ( I actually did).

Having worked with oscilloscopes for the past 20 years, I was really shocked with how well built these were. They seem well put together, came with the color coding rings to make identification easy and have the compensation adjustment point built into the end by the BNC connector. We are using these with a Vellemen oscilloscope / function generator and are quite pleased. Please note, these are not comparable to new probes for something like a LeCroy, Tektronix or Aglient oscilloscope, but work quite well if you are doing hobbyist level work, or just playing.

I was looking for a cheap set of probes and I was successfully. Maybe just a little to cheap. Don't get me wrong they do the job I wanted for my DIY projects. I wouldn't try and troubleshoot a supercomputer with them, but they work on microcontrollers and other small electronics. I couldn't get them tuned for a square wave output on my scope. I did like the dual heads (hook and pin) and they did come with a grounding wire. If you wiggled the plug you would see noise so the RJ plug is a bit loose. Would I buy these again when needed, yes. The price was right and the length was right.
