I just got the Ripsurf after riding the ripstik for 10 years and it's superior in every way to the ripstik

I just got the Ripsurf after riding the ripstik for 10 years and it's superior in every way to the ripstik
I got a ripstik back when they came out and I was really but into skating before getting one. Everyone claims they are for tweens and this couldn't be further from the truth. I just got the Ripsurf after riding the ripstik for 10 years and it's superior in every way to the ripstik. When you ride the board it feels like you are wakesurfing behind a boat. The stiffness I was worried about prior to riding it but it is much more stable and handles great. I'm an adult who weighs 220 and it does great. Smooth surfaces really make this thing sing. Would but twice!

I'm a guy in his 30's, and I love riding this thing. I've been an avid skateboarder for the past 20 years, and I've tried nearly every alternative to the traditional skateboard there is - I've tried longboard skateboards, freebords, snakeboards, etc. The Ripsurf is without question my favorite and is by far the most fun board I've ever ridden on the street. I bought this for myself and it's honestly why of my favorite purchases ever. I can't believe there isn't more hype and awareness surrounding this product. It really does feel and move just like a surfboard!!! Some reviewers complained about the board moving too slow. I'm guessing they never figured out how to ride it all that well. It takes a few days to get used to, but once you get the hang of it this thing carves like butter and zips through flat ground pretty fast. I don't understand how this board hasn't gained more popularity. Couldn't recommend this board enough. My only complaint is the lack of colors to choose from - wish it came in black.

This thing is rad! Yep, I said rad. My kids have or have had various Razor products from regular scooters, electric scooters, Rip Stik and have friends with the electric bikes. The Ripsurf is just about the coolest and unique ride on I’ve seen. My 11 year old got this for Christmas and is still learning how to use it efficiently and get better as although the motion to “go” is similar to that if the Rip Stik, it’s quite different. He states it’s a bit more challenging, but fun and I expect he’ll enjoy it more and more as his skills improve. Everyone who’s seen it thinks it’s awesome and asks what it is and where he got it. I’m surprised this concrete surfboard isn’t more popular! Well done Razor.

This thing is so much fun! I've tried the Ripstick over the years, but it never clicked with this guy in his 50s. The Ripsurf, with closer wheel-base and a more stable deck makes total sense. It even made more sense after reading instructions on how to turn it - lean front foot the turning direction, lean back foot the opposite direction. Not like you would turn a surfboard, but still to me it feels more like surfing than a skateboard. I use it a few times a day during breaks from the grind. Get this thing, great bang for the buck. Not necessarily recommending for all in your 50s, just that as Goofboard inventor, I have really good balance and can pull it off.

As a customer who first purchased the Ripstik, I can tell you that this is not the same. They’re the same castor wheels and style, but this has the capability to go faster and make wider swivels when riding. My children, ages 9 and 13 both love it and both were pros after a week. They both highly recommend this line of toys. My younger daughter prefers the Ripstik because it’s better for a smaller stance and it is more easily maneuverable for her, but my elder daughter prefers the Ripsurf. Both are great fun and are easy to get the hang of (for adults- with balance like my husband- and children!). Highly recommended!!

My son had it on his Christmas list. He is enjoying it but the design is different in this one versus previous ripstiks. The pipe connecting the front and rear sections and also which makes them swivel is not in this model. The plastic in the "surf" model is slimmed in one section of the body to achieve the same result. My son says it has a more rigid feel and makes the surf not quite as easy to propel and manuever. I hope that the plastic is durable enough to last like the other ripstik models. I will mention that the bonus on the surf is that an extra wheel is included in the package, unlike prior ripstiks I have purchased.

I'm a roller skater (no surfing or skateboarding experience) and the ripsurf is a lot of fun! It's best with a smooth surface and takes awhile to find the right footing but once you get used to 'carving' to build up momentum it's great. Once you get the hang of it balancing is easy to maintain even at slow speed. So far on a flat surface I can't go much faster than walking speed but I'm still very new at it.

My son absolutely obsessed over this board,to the point of watching YouTube demos over & over. He's 12yrs old and is somewhat athletic, build is tall & stocky. He did well on it after a short period, meaning an hour. Board does well inside & out. I believe one of the most well made toys Razor has made, I should know, I have 6 boys and have spent thousands on their products, and have returned a few. Good Luck, don't think about it, buy this board for your kid or even grown-up-kid. Fun & worth-it!

Got this in under 48 hours! A great service. The packaging was solid. Got a free wheel and some hipster stickers with this. Design and product quality is excellent. This is more suited for cruising. If you want to do stunts and sharper turns then don't buy this, buy a Ripstic instead. But happy over all.
