Cesar Padilla has owned Cherry—rated among the top ten vintage boutiques in the world by The New York Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Elle—since 1997. Padilla has written for The New York Times, Index, Fantastic Man, and Butt Magazine.

Lydia Lunch is a musician, actress, and writer who has worked with some of the biggest bands and directors of the 1980s and 1990s.

Betsey Johnson is a world-renowned fashion designer based in New York.

Will Oldham is an actor and musician who has played in such bands as the Palace Brothers.

If I could give this book a 12 star rating I would. I expected photos of underground shirts for inspiration, but this exceeded my expectations. There are photos of a lot of rare vintage tees that gives me a lot of ideas as a budding t-shirt designer. I have been looking back at it every week as I sketch new ideas, and the price is a steal. Even if you aren't into T-Shirt design, this is still a good book for graphic designers/illustrators to have on their table top. I was bothered at the first that the book had little blurbs, but eventually, I didn;t mind as I saw it allowed me to focus on what was important, the Tees.
