Colin has been writing for over twenty years in wide range of forms and styles, releasing his debut novel "To Die For" in 2017. This was followed by two poetry collections and the publication of his play "No Smoke", which gained high praise from BAFTA winner Geoff Thompson. The second novel in his Detective Mike Stone trilogy, "Innocent Lies" is out now.

Greatly inspired by the likes of Simon Kernick, Mark Billingham, Michael Robotham, to name but a few, he got a taste for writing novels and jumped into the deep end. Lisa Ballantyne's debut "The Guilty One" proved to be a inspiration, and more recently, Stuart Macbride opened up a fantastic new world of Scottish Crime Fiction. The royalty of Val McDermid soon followed, and the wonderful world of Peter May still keeps him going.

Independent writing is still where Colin does all his work, and with his increasing range of books and experience he now supports other authors with the formatting, design and publication passion.
