This book was supposed to be about Brakish and Erin, what I got was not that...one minute theres Joseph and Katherine, then Avery and Sleep, and so on. The book lacks something. I dont know if there is a conflict of writing styles between Melody and John, but whatever it is, the book is not meshing and is not cohesive.
It pained me to write this review knowing how fantastic Melody books have been, but hopefully, she gets her juices back for book 3
The Anderson family has become so real for me. It's as if I personally know these people, wish I was a member of the family or even just a friend. The love, loyalty, trust and joy shared by them is the epitome of family. You're a heck of a writer Melody Anne. Keep 'em coming'!
Looking ahead to the next book in this series, I don’t see the audiobook being available. Very disappointing.
I do recommend these books for more drama with a nice side of romance. Enjoy!
