WEATHERPROOF PAPER: 200 sheets of white 20# Copy Paper per pack. This paper that won’t turn to mush when wet and will repel water, sweat, grease, mud, and even survive the accidental laundry mishap and more.
COPY / LASER PRINT: Print your own forms, charges, maps, worksheets, and other important documents on Rite in the Rain Copy Paper. Unlink other synthetics, Rite in the Rain won't wash or rub off in harsh conditions. NOT FOR INKJET PRINTERS.
WHAT TO WRITE WITH: Use a Pencil or All-Weather Pen and your notes will stay intact. Standard Ballpoint pens will work when paper is dry. Water-based inks will bead off Rite in the Rain sheets.
PRINTING: Unlike synthetics, Rite in the Rain won't collect a static charge while printing and duplexing and there is no risk of melting in your machine.

Summary: I use this for archive purposes for purely permanent ink notes and sketches. I do engineering work and use it for designing. It works great. Yupo is more of a professional art quality polypropylene type paper, and is much more costly than this product. I gave this 5 stars because its better than regular printer paper, especially if your work has some value.

Pros:
1) Great waterproofing.
2) Handles permanent ink well, ball-point pens take longer to dry.
3) Stronger than regular paper, but still can tear.
4) Good amount if sheets for the price/quality.

Cons:
1) The version I purchased was not as white as I expected.
2) It is not rip-proof at all, but tear-resistant.
3) It can have unusual/unexpected results in certain environments because of it's production treatment, but for everyday use it works great.

I bought this for making waterproof maps for hiking. I will say that it does a pretty decent job at that, however, understand that if you take this paper through hell, it does have its limits.

We set out to hike 31 miles in a day and it rained nearly the entire day. I had a map printed on this paper in my pocket and not an inch of me was dry from 8AM to 9PM. The map was folded in half 3 times and I probably took it out of my pocket at least 20 times throughout the day. Where the paper was folded, it was starting to look like wet paper. Where the paper wasn't folder it felt like wet paper but it wasn't really affected.

Bottom line, if you're using it for maps, it is great for a little bit of rain. If you get soaked, assume you will need a copy of the map for each day you hike, but it is still way better than regular paper.

It is "All Weather Writing Paper". It is NOT water proof. I would say it's heavy duty water resistant. I printed out some color stuff on his paper with my laser printer and ran it under the faucet. No damage and no effect on the printing.

If you want to write under water then don't bother with this. It is paper that has been treated and coated, so it will eventually fall apart. It will also rip just like regular paper.

I use this for printing out my Family Communications Plan and maps. Because I also store these in waterproof pouches I do not require 100% water proof paper. So this paper works perfectly for me ESPECIALLY price wise.

LOVE this paper. I play a game called Geocaching. I use this paper for the logs that I put in the caches (containers hidden outside that do sometimes leak) and put logs with "trackables". No problems at all. Even when the logs get wet, they do not get destroyed. Highly recommend this product. I have bought NUMEROUS packs of this paper and even other products like the notebooks that I use at work. I am a police officer and that is the ONLY brand of notebooks that I get.

Got a package to try for my employees making field notes in the rain, or stormy days when spray is flying onto the deck of the boat. This paper is great. It gets wet, but holds together well, and you can write on it with a pen that is easy to write with. Pencil maybe not so well. But is great for logs in geocaches, and other applications. I am planning to use it in signs I make up and laminate. Laminate doesn't always last and sometimes it splits, allowing water in, but this should leave the sign useable.
