My biggest (and, really, only) complaint is that the wiring is a bit loose at the junction with the 3.5mm connector, and cut out if the cable was moved just so. Normally, that would be a bigger detriment, but since it's an RCA adapter, once the devices are connected, there's usually not much reason to be moving them. So the defect doesn't come into play that much. And at these prices, that it worked at all and didn't start a fire already puts it well ahead.
So I guess, basically, what I'm saying I wouldn't rely on these if your job depended on it. But if you just want to run your mp3 player or phone output into the TV or something, you might as well pick one of these up. With sales tax and gas money, it's a better deal than driving out to the dollar store.
This set is no different. I hooked this up to my iPod, ran it to a 6 year old stereo system (it had an Audio Video In), and for about two bucks I turned a previously useless, very nice stereo system, into a iPod dock that is better than systems ranging in upwards of 600$.
I turned it up as loud as it would go, and I had no distortion. The signal being delivered is analog. Why pay more for the type of delivery, when the end is always going to be the same?
If you are considering this, look no further. This is exactly what you want.
