Top Customer Reviews
For those of you who aren't sure what this cord is, the 3.5mm male plugs into your standard headphone port (Zune, iPod, any other MP3 player, AUX port in your car, etc.) and converts that to the red and white cords that you see plugged into your stereo or PlayStation, etc... It works both ways (red/white -> headphone and headphone -> red/white). Just make sure whatever you're using has the red/white male and the headphone female port. Male means it plugs into, female means it gets plugged into.
Also, this RCA to 3.5mm (AUX) cable truly is stereo. A lot of the other cables you'll find on here advertise to be stereo, but they're not. This one is.
Just buy this one and be done with it.
Finally my suggestion to people, is that since this is RCA to 3.5mm there might be some static but it will depend on your computer and the sockets. I would like to suggest that "if you are going to hook up your PS3 to your monitor and hook the PS3/av cord to your computer" that you instead buy some audio optical cable to connect from your PS3 to your computer, if you have the ability to do so.
Now to find out if you have the ability to use audio optical cable, you would to have a socket that says SPDIF on the back of your computer or on the front depending on your audio capability of your computer. The reason why you would want to buy an audio optical cable instead of going to this product is because the audio optical cable is supposed to have less static then this product and any other product using the av/PS3 cord method.
