A new book, The Best of the Equinox, Vol. 2: Dramatic Ritual has additional comments on the "Rites" by Lon Milo Duquette, and is recommended as a companion volume to this one.
The other reviewer who suggested that this was a "small book" is in error. This book is fully 12" tall by 8 " wide, and over 300 pages in length. It is true, as he says, that one can download the "Rites" from Crowley's "Equinox" for free, but one will not get the unique photos, essays, and explanatory notes that made this edition so essential when it was released by Mandrake Press in 1990, and still worth the investment for the serious Adeptus. (2015 note: The Lulu Press edition is merely a reprint of the Equinox Vol. I material that is in public domain, and does not contain any of the unique material in the Mandrake limited edition. It is not recommended, and is a rip-off.)
However these idgits are mad to require $127 for this small book, esp. when one can obtain the rites off the internest for nothing.
