I was between these, the Leone Bag gloves (I have the 16oz boxing gloves and they're fantastic), Fairtex, and Hyabusa. People I train with have one of each of them, but nobody had the Rivals. So I figured I'd take the plunge and see if these hold up against the others... they do.
I bought these a few weeks ago, and my impression so far is that they are great quality gloves, with great aesthetics. I use these for Muay Thai, when I'm just doing bag work or drilling. They look very clean, and the 'Wrist Lock' technology is pretty good at keeping the wrist secure. These fit great with my wrist wraps on (I always have my wraps on, so idk how they fit without them), and the feel of these guys is great. Good protection and padding all around the knuckles, but flexible enough to allow you to clench and make a good fist. The thumb compartment is snug, as many people have said, but I haven't any any issues with fitting my hand in there. A lot of the fighters I train with have been staring at these and are looking forward to when their gloves give out so they can buy these. So if you're looking for a good pair of bag gloves, I'd wholeheartedly recommend these.
Having fun sparring with my trainer!
