I purchased two. They are absolutely beautiful and arrived without a scratch. Showed a friend and she couldn't believe they came from Amazon as I was originally going to purchase similar chairs for almost 3x the price.
Update: I've had them for over 6months now and they are still awesome. I would recommend that you purchase a can of scotchgaurd and treat it as soon as they arrive. Other than average wear, I have two small light spots I cant get out. I'd purchased the scotchgaurd when I ordered these but never treated them because I was pregnant at the time and didnt want to expose myself to any potential smells. But these chairs remain my best Amazin purchase ever!

As far as comfort goes it is comfortable/supportive- but don't expect to sink down in it. You lean back a bit at an angle which is nice. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of time in the chair or expect to hang out and watch tv, etc. but it's great for an occasional chair in our sunroom and should accommodate guests comfortably. (keep in mind that the metal arms are cold on the skin)
Unfortunately the chair I received had a dent in the metal.(photo # 6 and 7) I do not think that this dent could have been caused through shipping because that area was not close to the side of the box. Actually the more I look at it, it doesn't look like someone dented it, but rather that the metal was already dented before assembling.
I'm not sure what the retail price is on this chair as the price is not listed yet here on Amazon, so cannot state my opinion on whether or not it is a good value, but it's a gorgeous chair deserving of 5 stars as far as quality and construction goes if you get one without manufacturer defects.

This is a very nice chair. I love it's simplicity. The velvet cotton fabric is very nice, the metal is smooth-nicely finished, and it appears to be a good quality chair. The metal finish appears to be a brassy gold color that may have been coated with a darker varnish to give it a unique color. It's not brass colored or copper but somewhere in between the two, ...if that makes sense. (satin finish) I received the blue fabric that is the same as in the Amazon description- and it looks great with my decor.
