What a powerful book!!!! This book will always remain with me. The powerful way that You can clearly see the hand of God in the lives of this beautiful family. God carried them through something that no parent should ever have to endure. The Grace, mercy and forgiveness was beyond anything I have ever read or experienced in my life. This book brings hope to the hopeless, healing to the deeply wounded...and when you see this family walking out the incredibly powerful act of forgiveness, it causes you to look at your own heart. If they can forgive something so tragic, so horrific, how can I not forgive?

This is one of the best books I have read on forgiveness. The stories of both the forgiven and the forgiver are something that will long remain in your heart as a model of what forgiveness needs to look like. If you need to be forgiven, or need to forgive and find Grace - this is a must read.

This heart wrenching true story pulls no punches as the authors relate the story of how their mother (in-law) and their eleven year old daughter were simultaneously killed by a drunk driver in a tragic car crash. The husband-wife author team trade perspectives as they recount the story and eventually come to a fork in the road of their own lives in choosing how to channel their grief and try to make sense out of this senseless tragedy. Should they embrace conventional philosophy and demand the all out prosecution of the DWI driver? This story tells how the couple's faith in God kept them going after the tragedy and led them down the road that is truly less travelled...the road of love and restoration that risked alienating them from dear family members...the road that led them to pursue a redemptive outcome from their grevious loss...the road that Jesus Himself chose when He cried out "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do"...The Road to Forgiveness.

This true story is a beautiful testimony of love, compassion, honesty, courage and forgiveness in the face of a heart wrenching tragedy. Dealt with such honesty and diligence. It is comforting to know people are that forgiving. This story could serve as a great teaching tool. There are great lessons and hope for people of all walks of life. I will be sharing this one with as many friends and family as I can.

This is the best book one can read to learn to forgive others, in order to have a healthy outlook onthe pitfalls which occur in everyones life.Through this book we can learn to love our enemies as Jesus taught us to do,in his word in the bible.This testimony shows how we can have courage and understanding.I salute Bill and Cindy for their faith in such adversity.If everyone could follow their example there'd be no wars.
