Creeds father is the head of an MC and the club comes first. Creed is trying to do the right thing when it comes to his mom and younger brothers. He knows he has no choice but to follow in his father's footsteps but he wants better for his younger brothers. It seemed like no matter how hard he tried nothing worked out in his favor. My heart literally ached for him and everything he went through in this book. There's not much I can say without giving away spoilers but this book was very intense and heartbreaking! My emotions were shot and I was only a few chapters into the story. My heart ached for Creed because despite his upbringing he tries to be a decent person and keeps getting the short end of the stick. When is he going to have his moment in the sun? Every time there was a slither of hope something bad would happen. This book had me all over the place and I'm hoping in the next book, Creed will get some happiness.
I also loved the whole MC aspect of the story and M. Robinson did a very good job capturing the club life and made it very realistic.
Ends Here Review:
I don’t even know where to start with this review. I felt like I was on a rollercoaster while reading this book. My heart was in my throat and I was on the edge of my seat while reading this book. There were so many twist, turns and shocking revelations that I didn’t see coming AT ALL!!! I had to put my iPad down several times and regroup. And let’s talk about the angst and heartbreak. I don’t know M.Robinson has to break my heart the way she did but luckily she was able to piece it back together. I read both books back to back as I was mentally and emotionally exhausted after I finished.
There is a love triangle in this book and I honestly didn’t know which way it was going to go. M. Robinson literally had me second guessing myself up until the very end. The angst over who Mia was going to choose was almost unbearable. I’m happy that person I wanted got picked but I can’t blame Mia for falling for both brothers. Despite their upbringing they both had good hearts and just wanted to something good in their lives. This book also shows you that your past does not define your future.
Mia Ryder, young heroine, feisty, strong
Noah Jamison, Creeds brother, can hold his own
The 3 main characters of the book and what a wicked basket they weave! Creed has known Mia since she was 9 years old and watched her grow up. Mia grows into a teenager in love with Creed but he consistently pushes her away, she’s a kid , he’s a grown man.
At odds with his father Creed and Mias brother join the army. After many years he discharges to find she’s not 9 any longer but still a teenage kid. Mia finally ends up with Noah. He and Creed fall out. There is a big surprise development.
Chaos reins in the club and something is not right. El Diablo makes his appearance, There is never a dull moment in this book. M. ROBINSON delivers as usual.
Big Cliffhanger too !! ….pat….
ENDS HERE BOOK 2
The story in book 2 is more about Noah Jamison and Mia’s relationship . It seems that Creed and Mia are star crossed lovers and not meant to be. Her pregnancy grows Noah and Mia closer together. Mia is kidnapped and tragedy and heartache come between Creed and Mia.
Creed struggles with losing Mia and spends his time trying to find out what is going on with the chaos being reined down on his club. He suspects his father is responsible but has no proof . He is given a CD from an unexpected source but it disappears before he looks at it
There is surprises galore, twists and turns, chaos, violence and raw sex . An MC book !!
Bring on Noah , Rebel ! ....pat....
My first M Robinson books were El Santo & El Pecador.. that’s when I first met creed.. Hot Daymn!!!
I loved everything about this this book!!!! Crerd and Mia meet when he is 17/18 ish and she is 9. They formed a friendship so to speek. This book spans approx 7 yes or so.. if you think you know what is going to happen you will be hugely mistaken.. Monica gives us so many twist and turns... one minute your cheering and the next your heart drops to your stomach..
Mia is a spitfire full of sass!! I absolutely loved her!!!! Creed was troubled, he has been thru hell and is still feeling as though he is still there most of the time.. He started as a prospect in his fathers MC and moved up to VP.. he is oh sooo sexy ..
Book1 ends on a HUGE CLIFFY!! And it literally about tore my heart out. Thank good I bought the box set so I didn’t have to wait!
Book 2 starts right where book 1 ended... I tore thru this one. I needed to know what was going to happen...hoping and praying we get the ending I wanted. I loved Noah & Mia but I LOVED Creed & Mia soooooo much more...
Who gets the HEA..? Seriously read this series!!!! I loved each and every word!!!!
I struggled to finish the book, wanting to know if there was an HEA. Skimmed a lot.
I've read reviews of her other stories and it looks like they are very similar, drowning in angst. No, thank you.
