Being a tibetan I felt very emotional watching this movie. We can never repay His Holiness for his sacrifice and service for Tibetans and mankind as a whole. Thank you for making this beautiful movie.
We love you His Holiness. Long live His Holiness.

I thought this was such a good film. The Dalai Lama's warmth and compassion are evident even through the screen. We should all endeavor to make this the "century of dialogue."

Short, Worthwhile Documentary for Everyone

This film documents some of the travels, meetings, and presentations of Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th and current Dalai Lama. He travels as a free spokesperson for the people of Tibet who are still being oppressed by the Chinese government. It is a short documentary but still provides a sense of calmness, clarity, and strength that people who have met him in person say he radiates. This all emanates from two simple things: love and compassion.

I believe this 1-hour film is worthwhile for everyone to watch.

I enjoyed the film

Interesting look inside the Dalai Lama's interactions and remarks over several appearances in London. Includes commentary and context on the history of the Tibetan conflict with China and the Dalai Lama's perspective. I enjoyed the film, but wished that more of it could have been shot in Tibet or in Dharamsala/North India (where he lives).

Self Awareness Mirrored Daily
Verified purchase
Amazing how simple, yet conflicting, the notion of self -awareness is to many of us. The start and continuing motion of educating ourselves, and applying it to our daily life. Once we acknowledge this situation and embrace self awareness, we can, and we will, better ourselves, and the world.
