5.0 out of 5 stars--Moving, Murder, and Mayhem
As a devoted reader of Hope Callaghan, I was excited about the first book of this series, Savannah Cozy Mysteries, but book two has me hooked. Carlita and her daughter move to Savannah to get away from crime but as they arrive, everything falls apart when they find a murdered woman on their new property. The ins and outs of not being charged with the woman's murder will keep you hooked to the end.--Sandy Hoodenpyle
5.0 out of 5 stars--THERE IS A MYSTERY TO SOLVE WHEN THEY ARRIVE IN SAVANNA
I am really enjoying this new series. Well earned five-star rating. There is so much going on and I had to read it in one sitting. The obstacles that the women have had to face it is surprising that they just don't give up.--meljan
5.0 out of 5 stars--
Another winner for Hope Callaghan! I wasn't really excited about a series featuring a mafia family, but the characters are well constructed and deep, so you feel like you are getting to know them.. ..and like them!
This is book two and I can see myself reading the whole series. It's like a soap opera...these people become your friends, so you want to know what happens next. Sigh. Another addiction...and more adventures to come! Good job, Hope! -otterfly7
5.0 out of 5 stars--The characters are exciting and I love the idea that these two women who have depended on the men in the family decide to leave the home in New York. The adventures the encounter when they get to Savannah and the friends they make.--Voncia
5.0 out of 5 stars--Road to Savannah
I chose a five star rating because this is a first class book. The story is about a family trying to get out of the family(mafia). The mom wants better for her kids but things keep happening to her family.I like that there are different age people in the story.Old and young can relate to them.Savannah is an interesting city.Lots of history. The parts with the Segway were cute.Made it interesting. It's a mystery that seems so believable.I'm right there with them through thick and thin.I would recommend this book to anyone interested in good ,clean mysteries.I'm loving this new series.Thank you Hope Callaghan for another great book.--Patsy
5.0 out of 5 stars--ONE OF THOSE READS YOU JUST CAN'T PUT DOWN!
When I reviewed the first book in this series I was a bit uncomfortable with the change in style and characterizations Hope Callaghan was delivering. After reading book 2 I can honestly say I love this series and cannot wait to see what direction it goes in. I was given this book free in exchange for an honest review and I'm watching with bated breath for the next book in this series. It's fun. It has enough twists and turns to engage the most dedicated cozy reader, but it is a cozy taken a step further than the usual. Carlita and Mercedes are women every woman can relate to. Son, Vinnie, is a man every mom recognizes and I'm seeing some love interests coming up for Carlita pretty soon. Rambo, the dog, is a free-thinker and you just gotta love him. Road to Savannah is a book that can be read as a stand-alone, but for the most enjoyment I'd advise reading Keys to Savannah (book 1) first. Each book has cost me a good night's sleep because I HAD to finish the entire book. For me, that's a book worth my time.--J. R. Webber
