I bought this for a road trip I am taking w/ my husband, daughter and niece. I wanted to keep them occupied and not plugged into their ipods or movies. I would have given this a 5, but the board was.. ehhh.. not the best. it looked old and beat up. However, the book was really nice, perfect size to tuck away in the door pocket. It had really interesting questions. I thought this would have been perfect for our trip. I plan to give the girls some prizes. My daughter, who loves "useless" information, decided to read some questions to see if it would be fun, without my knowledge. She read the book in an hour. She comes out of her room announcing that hte book will be great and my niece will like it, too. Then she realized what she did... she read the whole book and now I can't use it. Anyway, my 14 year daughter loved it and it would have been great for our trip. If I could i would have give it at 4.5 star. I would recommend it just for the book. Little kids could use the board.

Fun book for the car but....

My kids had a blast with this fun multiple choice question book on our last car trip. They are 5 & 7, and it kept them entertained a long time. However, I did wince at a few inappropriate questions, like there's one about a weatherwoman doing the forecast in the nude! This is for 4-8 year olds, why would Klutz include a question like that? With that said, I'm still giving it 4 stars, because the rest of the book was good.

This was a fun book for the kids on our road trip. A little challenging, but we just skipped over those. Kids had fun "quizzing" the parents and keeping track of scores. It's a nice book to be able to put away for the next road trip and it will feel new all over again.

Sturdy, fun and good for short attention spans

I did these quizzes together with my tween sons at bedtime (over the course of several nights). The boys often preferred to do the quiz book together rather than having me read aloud from a regular book. The questions are varied and surprising, and the answers give some fun facts. The book is very sturdy, and there are illustrations on each and every page. There are also only 5 questions per topic, so it's good for kids with short attention spans - or when you just have a couple minutes to kill.
