Review

ALL ROADS LEAD HOME is Mary A. Wasowski's best book yet. It is slightly autobiographical, mostly fictional, and all quality.

The success of Mary's books is in her writing style. First-person writing easily helps readers connect with these characters on a personal level--hearing their thoughts and seeing scenes through their eyes. Like in her previous books, the intensity of every emotion is drilled into every page. And with every publication, Mary is getting better at describing those feelings.

You will find yourself sad and crying as one person, then feel imperiled and endangered as someone else, and also feel wistful and loving as another character.

She puts her heart into her words, and the words in this particular book are loosely based on reality. When handing me the manuscript for editing, Mary told me, "Enjoy reading my heart..." And after reading this masterpiece, you too will feel closer to her and the worlds she creates in her books.

This is a standalone book, not part of a series...yet!

There is not a strong enough word I can think of to describe the intensity of emotions that come with reading this book, it is like getting hit by an emotional tsunami and you feel the effects for days... This is a love story of the deepest and truest kind.. Love of family, friends and destined lovers... Jagger and Tenley suffer through disappointment, betrayal, unbearable grief, and seperation... Each living through their own personal hell alone but are either of them truly living or just going through the motions.... It will take miracle or words from beyond to help Tenley to decide if she chose wrong and find her way back.... This book deserves way more then 5 stars ....

I absolutely loved this book! Mary A. Wasowski gave us a book so powerful and emotional that it was all I could think about for days, even when I wasn't reading! Tenley left the only life she knew to chase her dreams, after a tragic loss. Entangled in a web of devotion and confusion, she thought her only choice was to run. Little did she know, those who loved her from so far away and from beyond would guide her choices. Jagger was her childhood world and he needed her. Shane held her on a pedestal and wanted her. Her brother only wanted her to make the right choices that he knew were right for her, and guided her in a special and unique way. How Tenley learned of these wishes was tender and gut wrenching. ALL ROADS LEAD HOME is a beautiful and complicated story about familu and about following your heart and figuring out which path in life is the right one to take. Mary A. Wasowski is one talented writer! Read this gem today!

All roads lead home is in my very humble opinion Mary's best work.
I loved it from the 1st page to the last. I cried and I laughed. But at points I was stunned. Tenley and Jagger's story was beautiful and it was raw and it was so real.
You know what they say> You can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl. That is how this story unfolds. I think people that read this book will see what I saw. Love pure and simple

I read and love all of Mary's books and this story is also something I can relate to. My brother also died young (23) and I know the pain and the numbness that follows. At first, I did not like Tenley and Jagger and you will probably wonder what so good about their romance? This book start with the "ugly" scenes, but don't give up because it will get better and so does Tenley and Jagger.

This was a new author for me and I was not at all disappointed. From the very beginning, emotions ran high. I devoured this book in one day as I could not put it down. From heartbreak to a full heart this book will have you feeling so many emotions but you will be happy you embarked on this reading journey. I know I am.

I think I should stick with historical romance novels, this book just didn't do it for me. I had to force myself to finish it, and skipped over the letter writing by brother Jamie. It's like this brother was a saint, and he was the only one who could control his spoiled sister. Oh well, it was ok.

WOW what an emotional rollercoaster you are taken throughout this book! I loved every second of it – what a great read. Love, loss, betrayal and hope for a better future – this book has it all and I’m so glad that it is a stand alone book.

Tenley has been away from her home for 5 long years. She is a very strong willed, intelligent person but she has been running from her feelings and those she left behind. She just couldn’t cope with the loss of her brother and the hurt she caused by one stupid mistake to the person she loved the most, Jagger. She has been hiding within herself and it takes a letter from beyond the grave to get her back on the right path and find her way back home.

Before her brother died he made her promise him that she would carry on with her life and be happy. He knew her so well that he could see his death would be hard on her and she would need a helping hand to get back to where she belongs. The place she belongs the most is in Jagger’s arms. After reading the letter she decides to come home but knows that this can’t be the only reason, when she finds out that Jagger is in a coma she can’t get there fast enough.

Everyone is trying to convince her, her brother included through his letters, that Jagger still loves her and would do anything to give their relationship a second chance. She wants to believe them but also doesn’t believe she should get the second chance. She just needs him to wake up and give her a sign that this is where she belongs. Three simple words are all it takes “Stay with me.”

Their relationship is not about trying to pick up where they left off but about starting again with whom they have become in the time spent apart.

Damn, this is an emotional read. So be prepared.
Tenley Fairchild has lived through much but she was sure she would never survive the death of her brother Jamie but after 5 years away, she is back and her heart may never be the same again
Tenley may not have been a big city girl all those years ago but she knew she needed more than her small home town could give her.
She applied and was accepted to Yale and despite having to leave everyone she loved behind, she made the decision that she was important enough to follow her dreams and while the town supported her decision, her boyfriend Jagger never thought she would actually leave.
Jagger was the quintessential country boy – big heart and a love of all things Wyoming but losing Tenley was a devastating blow to him. He has never stopped loving her and if she was completely honest the feeling was mutual. He truly was the love of her life.
But years have passed and Tenley is now working in New York, but unbeknown to her small town Wyoming is just about to rock her very steady world.
First it was the phone call asking her to go back home, but she steadfastly refused – not knowing in her heart if she really could face returning.
Then comes the big guns, her friend Wendy rocks up in New York, with a letter from her dead brother, a letter that proves that he knew her better than she knows herself and that sometimes, life works in mysterious ways.
It is during this time that her mind is turned and she knows that she has to go back – Jagger her ex, is in seriously bad shape, following an accident. He is in a coma and she may just be the one that can help.
Now, she can never undo the years they have spent apart but she can begin to piece this very broken man back together – she is the glue that he needs to mend.
