Crisp, fresh and delicious

Brazil nuts are hard to find in grocery stores and I found a number of vendors selling them on Amazon. These dry roasted Brazil nuts by "I'm a Nut" are delicious. I ordered on 03/04/2020 and the expiration date on the package is 02/20/2022 - almost two years away. I chose these because there are no oils added during dry roasting. Some of the other brands had comments mentioning the nuts tasted rancid, which could have been due to the oils added during roasting. These nuts taste crisp and fresh, and are exactly what I was hoping for. Plus, the price was lower than most other brands. High quality, no broken pieces, and the dry roasting and light sea salting bring out the flavor.

Just purchased my second bag. I’m relatively new to the Brazil nut. I bought some bulk from Whole Foods while waiting for my first bag for comparison. I slightly prefer the raw unsalted but these are pretty great. Zero complaints!

I was buying a different brand but decided to give this brand a try. I'm glad I did because this brand is better tasting. You are only supposed to eat 3-4 of these a day I have read. It doesn't say that on the package but I ordered these because they are supposed to be good for lowering cholesterol and for the selenium content. I could eat more than 3-4 a day because they are so good. But they are expensive so I'm glad I don't eat more than that. I'd rather get vitamins and minerals from food so I like these for that.

This was my second order. The first was fresh but a few were little bitter. Not bad though only a few. The second bag seemed fresher and the only ones I found to be a little on the bitter side was the largest ones. They are nicely salted and I mix them in a bowl with cashews from a can and salted pecans from Amazon and freeze up bags of the mix in 16 oz. food saver bags for future use. MMM. I get tired of 50% almonds in mixed nuts from the store.

I'm about 1/3 of the way thru my bag. I have had zero (0) 'bad' nuts. And I don't see any in the (clear) bag so I'm not anticipating any problems. Also, these taste great, have a good crunch, just the right amount of salt, and no nasty ingredients or industrial lubricants such as canola oil... nothing but nuts and salt.

They are SLIGHTLY more expensive than some others for sale... but easily worth the price and I will continue buying these as long as the quality continues to come thru.
