These are slightly undersized compared to some and are made of a softer foam.
They are slightly less buoyant than the larger (1/2 to 1") you expect to see (thus making them 2-2 1/2") and less durable.
Ours were purchased as part of the "thank you" gift bags for a pool based birthday party and few survived the day.

I bought these as a way to plug the gap between my kids' beds and the wall so their lovies/books/etc would stop falling in the crack. These worked perfectly for that. We plan to use the rest as pool toys this summer, however, these noodles are pretty thin and will not be as buoyant as typically larger/thicker noodles.

Exactly what I thought they would be. They will be perfect training light sabers when cut in half. Only problem I have with them is that I thought it would be an even mix but it definitely was NOT. Ended up with 8 pink and only 4 blue which is disappointing. Hoping there won't be any fights over kids wanting the blue...pink looks like the dark side, right?? :/

As a long arm quilter, I use these to keep the batting off the floor while the quilt is being quilted. Simply slice once all the way down the noodle, and push the end into the cut area to secure the batting, then roll it around the noodle until it's as where you want it. Place the noodle into a batting sling under the frame, and you are ready to quilt. Easy to unroll as needed.
Another way I use these is to store large pieces of batting, or cut one into sections, split in half, tuck behind the dead bar to use them to take up slack in the quilt.
If you float your top, you can also roll the loose end of the top around one the same as you do the batting, to keep it off the floor too.

They are a little thin, but they worked fine. would recommend buying them in bulk like this if you need a lot. Individually, they are expensive.

I needed these for a project, so trust me, I shopped around a lot and couldn't find them anywhere cheaper for this size and quantity.

we don't have a pool, but we have found lots of uses for these -- just cut some up to put in all our boots for example. we use them in the summer to help channel rain water where we want it to go... if you have room, keep some around. you will be amazed at all the uses there are!

Someone asked about size,
This is 2 and 3/8'' outside with the hole being 7/8''
I shove 3/4" pvc pipe through the center in my use as it will stretch.

The noodles came quickly and are good quality BUT they are only pink and blue. I bought two boxes for classroom use and I was very disappointed. All the photographs show multiple colors and that is what I expected.
