Comedy icon Robin Williams takes the stage at Washington's DAR Constitution Hall for this stand-up special featuring material from his sold-out 2009 U.S. tour.
I watched this on a Delta flight. I was laughing so hard, I had tears running down my face. All the flight attendants came by to see what i was watching. Like the laughter therapy where one person starts laughing and then everybody starts laughing too, people around me were smiling and laughing even though they weren't watching the show. Yes there was an abundant use of "F*" word, but if you looked past that... you get an hour and a half of really cleansing laughter.
Robin Williams doesn't deliver a punch line then spend the next minute repeating and "explaining" it like most of the standup comedians do.
The other one on the flight was a Carrie Fisher stand up autography. This was good too.

this funny, dear sweet man just made me laugh out loud in an empty house ! no one will ever make us laugh the way he did ever again. i loved you Robin, thanks for sharing. you always showed up when i needed a smile. i am heartbroken you had this much sadness and that you left us so soon, i know God will be ' rotflol' with you around. may comfort surround your loved ones, i hope the public allows them to grieve you in private..

Robin Williams leaves no stone unturned in his manic and brilliant stand-up style. This is a man at the peak of his skill and he works it wonderfully. I laughed incredibly hard at this and am looking for time to watch it again, something I rarely do.If you like Robin Williams it is very likely you will love this.

Genius. No one comes close. These 90 minutes are not his best, yet its a glimpse of how truly evolved he was. 100 years from now comedians will still be in awe in the same way baseball aficionados today marvel at Babe Ruth a century later. I cannot find another gem to compare him to. He too suffered privately yet gave so much joy to those around him. Luckily, unlike Babe, we have much video to enjoy. Watch this and decades from now tell your grand kids about the sultan of comedy. As I said simply, genius.

You know how you watch stand up comedy on tv and its a well known comedian, you think it should be funny but turns out not so much. You needed to be live to really enjoy the experiance. Well not with Robin Williams, he will make you laugh out loud. There is no pause between jokes, he just keeps going for topic to topic, from politics to sex and everything in between. Not suited for the young sometimes, I would keep it 18 and over, enjoy.
