including its tour de force kick ass climax. Tom Noonan is great as always as the villain and Gabriel Damon is even better as the vicious 12 year old killer turned antihero Hob. His character got critisized alot for being a murderous child but I think its an ingenius and risky choice. He steals every scene he`s in and has one of the coolest machine guns in movie history. This is a great sequel
So I decided to give it another try. This time I liked it :D The soundtrack was interesting, very similar to what Kershner got in ESB. I am guessing that he asked for things from his composer that John Williams had done in ESB.
The "character" development is OK and actors perform well enough. I think my 2 star back when I watched it a few years ago was solely based on the quality of the visual effects. It seems a bit "lower" than the first one, but I can now forgive that :)
It certainly preserves the "spirit" of the first movie in tone and style while telling a "different" story.
