Multiple Cleanup ModesChoose the right cleanup mode for any given need, with 5-levels of cleaning power, generating increasing amounts of suction and noise. Available modes are Quiet, Balanced, Turbo, and MAX. |
Surprisingly QuietPowerful suction does not have to mean loud. The robotic vacuum treads a delicate balance giving you maximum power for less noise so that you can clean with less disruption to your home life. |
Total App ControlControl the robot completely from anywhere with an internet connection. Start or stop a cleanup, set schedules, change suction levels, and more. *Note: Only works with 2.4G Wi-Fi. |
Built-In Fall ProtectionClean right to the edge of stairs and ledges without worry. Four onboard cliff sensors, two in front and two in the back, scan the ground and stop the robot from going over edges. |
Automatic Top-up Charging
When cleaning larger spaces, the robotic vacuum will clean until its battery is low, then it will return to its dock and recharge to 80% capacity before continuing with the cleanup.
Remote Control
Take control over exactly where the robot goes, and drive it to where you need it using either the “Pin & Go” function or by driving your robot using virtual joysticks on your phone.
Accessory Maintenance Scheduling
Various robot vacuum accessories will need cleaning and replacing at different times. Use the app to check when each item needs to be checked and even receive recommended replacement notifications.
Floating Main Brush
The floating main brush adjusts its height for the perfect clean, dropping close to the ground when cleaning hard floors and rising on the carpet for proper carpet agitation.
For Optimal Use:
Use on low- to medium-pile carpets, tile, wooded and hardwood floors. Not suitable for high-pile carpets.

I do want to callout an issue I’ve seen others bringing up. The S4 was consistently having an error 5 - main brush blocked at the 14-15 min mark and then every 8 mins after. I emailed Roborock and they sent out an update that corrected the problem the next day.
---- Here's what happened ------
We have had a Roborock S5 for several months and LOOOVE it!!! Never had a problem and always consistently swept our upstairs! When I realized Roborock just came out with an S4 I decided to buy one! It appeared it would have all the great features we loved about our S5 plus the benefit of having "room by room scheduled cleaning"! It didn't have the mop which was fine (we never used the mop feature of the S5 anyway)
Well..... I excitedly unpacked and setup the S4 and sent him scooting around the house (I always love watching these robots map out our house in no time!) Soon after the S4 started sweeping my daughter's room (note: her room has low pile carpet) the S4 stopped with a "Main brush blocked" error! "Hmm..." I thought, "never had that before... well it must just be a random thing..." So I reset it... and then soon it was randomly going in circles.... Yea like crop circles in the middle of the open floor... {see the video} after it fumbled around doing circles it threw another error "Side brushed blocked" I reset this and... then soon "Vacuum is stuck please move to open area"....
Long story short, it took the S4 45 minutes and endless amounts of random errors to sweep the same room the S5 has been sweeping error-free in 8 minutes.
I believe this could be fixed with a firmware update, so I will gladly come back and update my review to reflect any positive improvements. Roborock... please... please!! please!!! update the firmware for the S4 to function like the S5!!!

The mapping feature is phenomenal! The initial vacuum of your house will take twice as long because it has to map out your house and will almost seem disoriented but after it saves your house's layout the vacuuming is much more efficient. It will go around the edges of each room and then do the perfect Z from side to side throughout. You can merge each rooms or unmerge rooms to create separate rooms for cleaning. The virtual no-go zones have also been great so you don't have to deal with magnetic tape. I have an area rug that has a fairly high pile and can't be vacuumed with these robots.
The battery life is great if you run it in standard but I usually run it on turbo so it only last about 70 minutes which still isn't bad. It does not complete my house in one clean but it recharges and picks up where it left off so it's no big deal at all. It will run over small toys and get stuck if the toy get under the vacuum just right but I'm sure every single vacuum on the market has the same issue.
I wouldn't call this a con but it's a bit annoying that you can't switch the meters to feet, or atleast I haven't found a way.
Overall it's a great vacuum and I would recommend.

I do not get paid for reviews, I am a very satisfied customer who rarely ever writes reviews however this robot is such a great product and the fact that I have been purchasing, testing and RETURNING so many robots for more than a year now, I want people to know that the price is perfect for the performance because I have had the low end priced ones all the way to this expensive Sharq IQ and there is no comparison!! I am not a fan of wasting my hard earned money so I really wanted to share my honest opinion and my experience over the last 3 weeks with this robot so that others can have an idea of its performance.
If I run into any issues, I will post an update to this review.

If you mind, the S4 is a damn good choice. The mapping is outstanding, controlling this vacuum from my smartphone is surprisingly convenient, you can also point it to a place so it only goes there, was useful to me as i cook a lot with flour. The S4's map makes it smart and efficient, it will do the contour of the room, then zigzag in straight lines as much as it can. It also doesn't care about most carpet, only struggling with the highest ones we use as a welcome mat. It had issues with bar stools, as it tried non-stop to climb the rounded sides, but I was able to setup a no-go zone in the app so it ignores the bar stools.
Great mid-range vacuum. If you wanna spend the money to get past entry-level products, this is a great choice.
Lo que le falta es que puedas hacer más de un mapa para usarla en áreas de la casa que no están conectadas, es decir, que el robot por si solo no puede acceder. Eso sería un verdadero plus al producto.
