5V not 3.3V - killed my Raspberry Pi

I'd give this negative stars if I could.

This says it's 3.3V compatible but it isn't. It puts out 5V on the pins and there does not appear to be any way to change the voltage on the micro-USB CH340G version.

Unfortunately I only found this out AFTER connecting it to my Raspberry Pi...which no longer works.

The board I received had the rear right-angle header pre-soldered while the two side straight headers were not soldered. The board also had clear heat shrink tubing around its entirety, exposing only the USB connector and right-angle header.

I cannot speak for how genuine the included CP2014 chip is, but I can say that it worked out of the box with the drivers included in Windows 10.

I used this to create a GIMX adapter paired with an Arduino Pro Micro and it worked without problems.
