The Game Is Good and So Are The Drums

I needed a drum set for all my rockband games and this is by far, the best I found. Rockband 1 drum set does not have an attractive look but at least it works and it's wired. This Rockband drum set (RB2) is very attractive looking but syncing can be difficult sometimes but not impossible, plus it's wireless. Since my Wii is hacked with homebrew, there is something you need to do. If you using a backup rockband disk, make sure you use a homebrew app called SoftChip and use IOS232. Then the drum will sync right when you get to the rockband intro movie. But if your using legit, non-backup rockband disk, then you will be fine. Drum set also comes with 5 stickers.

- ALL ROCKBAND GAMES
- GUITAR HERO 5
- GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR

BOTTOM LINE:

Design is nice and sleek. The drum is quieter, ALOT. The drum sticks are a little bit of a cheapo kind, but those colorful rockband drum sticks that you see in stores are really good drum sticks. Must buy. The shipping was fast too! (I chose 2 day shipping)

Well, at first it is really fun to play. I love the fact that it's wireless. The only problem so far is that the sound of drums is not loud enough. The sound of drumsticks hitting the plastic is actually louder than the actual drum beat. Other than that, the drums are fun to play, appear to be pretty sturdy, and the batteries still last for two weeks now, given that the drums are played every day for about an hour or so :))

I am having alot of fun with these drums and Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3. The only thing that is driving me nuts is the amount that this wireless drumset freezes or drops communication. Some songs it does'nt..... some songs it drops out 2-3 times. As far as quality, I'd rank the drums a 3 out of 10. They are pretty much only a "toy" and have no durability.

We must have gotten a bad one cuz our yellow drum pad doesn't work...however we mostly use this for Lego Rock band and it has super easy where any drum pad makes all the notes so we don't have to use the yellow pad...

This just arrived today and I am very impressed. It is very well packaged and the directions are well explained in the setup sheet. This took more than a week to ship, but it looks amazing. I love the black color of it and that it's wireless. The sound of hitting the drums can be a bit loud unless played with less force. Nevertheless, this a great product and I suggest buying from Guitar Hero & Rock Band Surplus for a great quality Rock Band 2 drum set.

I bought these for my daughter. It's hard to hear the actual drum sound over the sound of just hitting the stick on the drum pad. I wish they were made better but there aren't any options in this price range.

Wii Rock Band Drums--fun addition to the band

We have had a lot of fun adding the drumset to our "band". Now two people can play--and with many different levels, it has been easy for everyone to learn. I would recommend getting the pads that go on top of the drum heads, as the hitting of the sticks on the pads is quite loud.

I bought this afer I bought Rock Band 2. I initially just used my Guitar Hero World Tour drums, and they worked pretty good. But I saw these for such a good price I had to get them. I wanted to play drums on the Rock Band AC/DC disc and, since it's a Rock Band 1 game the GH drums won't work.

I've found, having played both games, that I like Rock Band's interface (graphics) better but, on the other hand, I like the hardware setup of Guitar Hero better.
