Very excellent book, great color reproduction and affordable. the size of this book could be larger (6 1/2" x 8 1/2"), but it includes some, if not all, of Femke Hiemstra's best work. Very creative and imaginative artist who will be around for a long time I hope.

My sister asked that I get this for her. She's been looking for a copy of this book for a long time now. There's not many in print. So, this book was perfect for the cost. The condition of the book was very good as well, with no damage to the pages of the book.

:ery inspiring book of imaginative work. Reminds me of a blender full of Mark Ryden, Mitch O'Connell, and Camille Rose Garcia, yet uniquely her own style.

The illustrations in this book are bizaar, I see a direct connection to other illustrators who's work I've enjoyed for years. Which artists influenced who doesn't matter this work hits the mark and beyond. Once I saw the book I knew that I had to have it. The illustrations are dark, creepy, sickly sweat and have a strange magic and its hard to say which one is my favorite.

This is a little gem of a book. I'm not a fan of all pop surrealist artists, but enjoy Femke Hiemstra's work (along with Mark Ryden and a couple of others). It is very insightful to see her sketches and the graphite drawings that she creates before bringing them into Photoshop to complete. It gives a clear picture of her very creative process.
