I recently moved all of my music from ITunes to Amazon and I'm glad that I did. I downloaded the Amazon mp3 player to my phone, which connects to Bluetooth and plays in my car as soon as my phone connects to my car!!! sweet!!! ... the best thing that I have found is the price for mp3s on Amazon seems to be cheaper than ITunes. Always a plus!

Def Leppard's Rock of Ages is new and ready to rock people of different ages along with all of us who enjoyed it when it was original. If you're a Def Leppard fan I'd suggest getting this or even a rock fan...GET THIS!!

Well, at first when I heard Def Leppard was re-recording 2 tracks to put online I kind of cringed with hesitance. (long story on why. Google it, it's quite interesting) There's some aspects of the new one that I like better and some of the old version. However, if they played it on the radio, you wouldn't tell the difference at first sound. I do recommend buying it if you're a Leppard fan. It has clarity unlike the original and the sound is much more superior.

I heard Def Leppard rerecording some of their songs to spite their label, and I was curious. There were two of their songs on Amazon (horray for not having to install iTunes on Windows), so I figured "Why not?"

This version is definitely different, and I like it better in a few ways. They tried to make it sound like the original when they could, but this one sounds a lot cleaner. The background vocals do sound drowned out a little.

Not as crisp as the original, especially in the beginning. Since I was getting this song to fill out my Supernatural playlist, the difference was just too noticeable for me. However, it's still a decent version, especially if you're not trying to match the original super-well.

Not bad but I thought that I was buying the original song. Going to have to spend an extra dollar to get the one I want.

I'm not sure that I understand from a die-hard fan's point of view why DL would want to re-release two of the greatest songs in their library. Sure, Rock of Ages is a great song, but what was the point? It almost looks like a "we need cash" deal.

I firmly believe that had they revamped the studio recording to include some of Phil's amazing riffs from their live show, or some of the extra vocals, then these tracks would be more highly recommended.

In closing, these tracks are timeless, but if you are like me, you have them on 4 different albums and there is really no difference...the sound is of a cleaned up album version and doesn't really warrant buying these tracks.

This re-engineered version has the elements enhanced that allow me even more connection to this song, the band, and the time in my life that I heard for the very first time! Thanks so much!
