It does exactly what it says: connectivity to your PS4.

The concept is just awesome and I really enjoy how immersive this chair can turn your videogames parties ! Gran Turismo, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot, FIFA... all games are enhanced thanks to this surround audio system and the low seat. I am typically that guy that could not play its best game on the sofa so I sat on the floor. But now with this low seat I have found my perfect spot to play videogames and I will never trade my spot ! In addition I rediscovered the pleasure to watch movies and series.

To be honest, I prefer to put the headphones on my PS4 controller rather than directly on the chair when I am using it and do not want to wake up the entire house for a sound quality reason.

I think it provides a true comfort to connect wireless the chair through the PS4 wireless controller (no cables through the room) except the power cord of the chair + the jack/jack between the PS4 dualshock and the X Rocker. My recommendation is to use your PS4 to watch Netflix, DVDs, Blurays as well to optimize your experience of the product. For shows that do not require a low seat and a certain quality of sound, it is just like giving pizza to birds: it works but it does not worth it.

For a wireless experience with any model of Xbox, Playstation or any home consoles: Ace Bayou wireless retrofit system is to be ordered separately ($35 to $55 before taxes), otherwise, the cables will do the trick just fine.

- The cable management is a total mess if not using a PS4 or the separate retrofit system (adapter to be purchased for Xbox one controller)

- Fabric is kind of fragile so if you intend to play shirtless in the middle of summer, put a bath towel on the chair before you sit

I am truly sad to be writing this review as I almost didn’t purchase these chairs and went back and forth so many times! I couldn’t find anything else I thought would be great for my son’s gaming area, so I bought 2. One is awesome and within 4 months the other one has a defect…counter weight is broken and there is a hole in the back. This chair was only used on carpet and rarely sat on but for maybe 3 hours total, if that. I reached out to XRocker and they said if within 90 days there is a defect they would replace the chair and otherwise I would have to talk with the retailer. Well Amazon is not going to return this so I’m left with a wonky chair and would not recommend you purchase these. I’m a seasoned researcher/shopper and believe me when I tell you there are better products out there for your money.

Upgraded from a previous X-Rocker model from like 6 year ago, so with that in mind, the comfort is great! Sits a tad higher than the old chair and is a bit wider, too. The upholstery, tho it looks sharp, doesn’t feel as sturdy as the old one, especially when getting in and out of the sim cockpit. Well see how it lasts!

The sound system is pretty greet. The bass is responsible and where it’s built into the seat, you really feel it depending on what game you’re playing. CON: while easy to set up and pair the Bluetooth and it’s a Good addition, but not sure if it’s a windows thing or the Bluetooth internal stuff that’s causing this but when paired with the pc, there’s a small pop before and after a sound occurs. Haven’t seen if that’s the same it paired with another device.

Hardest part was getting the darned pin in to secure the seat from closing. But it’s in and looks sharp in my sim cockpit. Adds a bit of style to the room and truly makes you feel like a boss.

My 13 year old first bought the "Rocker Pro Series H3 Black Leather Vibrating Floor Video Gaming Chair with Headrest for Adult, Teen, and Kid Gamers - 4.1 High Tech Audio and Wireless Capacity - Foldable and Ergonomic Back Support" but returned it because it was not comfortable for him. He then chose this chair and has kept it. While this chair does not have arms like the other chair, and while it looks more basic, ultimately NOT having a vibrating piece in the seat and not having a padded head rest that sticks out was more comfortable for him. As an adult I found the other chair more comfortable EXCEPT for the vibrating piece. If it were not for the vibrating piece sticking into your back, the other chair would be more comfortable. Therefore, even though this chair doesn't look as nice and doesn't have arm rests, it is ultimately more comfortable. Sound and ease of use is similar for both. They hook up to XBox easily and sound is fine.

Would give it five stars except that about a week in, some sort of inside structure was snapped off and now a large piece of some kind is loose in the very front of the chair. Honestly though, it definitely doesn't impact the comfort this chair offers, even for someone who is 5'11 1/2. I can use this chair for 8 hours straight a month after i bought and still feels as good as it did the first time. Highly recommend!

Quite comfortable, although just a couple of issues.

Pros:
- Comfy leather seat with a nice recline, found my self falling asleep a couple of times,
- can recline as far back as you want with an appropriate amount of force.
- sleek and attractive design
- Not to big, fits in tight locations.
- Affordable compared to other amazing rockers

Cons:
- Extremely annoying creaking sound when rocking or just moving around the seat
- Lower back pain for long amounts of use
- Speaker quality is very bad, i never use them for the terrible quality. i also game with a headset so it is a useless feature for me regardless.
- Very low to the ground, i found myself sitting up half the time hurting my back and legs.
- Based on the constant creaking sounds, i would assume this will not last very long with regular use.

Overall: Not ideal for hardcore gaming, i would recommend paying and extra $300 for a bigger and higher rocker or gaming chair. Decent for a casual gamer who plays for no more than an hour a day. Can get very uncomfortable after an hour of use and will wear down fairly quickly.

returned - super uncomfortable. you can feel the wood frame through the padding. The curvature of the seat is terrible for your spine. The speaker audio was crackling like a sound-clipping or some sort of distortion. Poor build quality: You can see how everything is sewn uneven, seams are not centered down the middle. for $250 I expect better. unfortunately there is not much alternative in this form factor. Will be checking out Sciatica pillows and combining with a meditation back support. Hopefully this company redesigns this product and fixes their production quality issues.

I only took a photo with him in it... but, the rocket gaming chair looks exactly like the photo they use to advertise it. It’s comfortable. It’s also a lot louder than expected (with the bass on) my son loves it.

I’d say it’s best for children cause it is so low to the ground.

People said their chair squeaked and stuff but we haven’t noticed that yet? But we also locked the chair! Maybe others didn’t? I don’t know. But, we are happy with this purchase.

Bought this for my coffee table since I have a laptop and yeah didn't sit well. Chair itself is great comfy and sturdy. Some flaws I did find with this are the quality of the speakers I'm guessing this is like a d-box kind of experience but you can just use surround sound or headphones to get a way better sound quality. Not suitable for pc. The price is high for what this is. Definitely for children. Not sure but I think it has to be plugged in 24/7 since theres no internal battery. The base weight isn't that heavy so if your gonna do a nice lean back stretch after a hard gaming sesh your gonna fall like i did. Is there better options yes Definitely but if your kids want it go buy it.
