One Star is the Best I can Do

Here's the deal...I always give sellers 1 star for doing something I can't/won't do. In the case of this company and product, that is where my praise stops. This unit arrived DOA for some odd reason since it seems to be a simple plug and play piece of hardware. I ran basic trouble shooting techniques to confirm my Pro 3 was not the problem - it wasn't. Then I sent seller a message requesting any information or recommendations they may have. An automatic email responded saying someone would get back to me within 48 hours...and that was three weeks ago.

A product that doesn't work and no response when requesting support. You want to give minimum effort then expect minimum results.

Perfect fit for my Microsoft Surface Pro 3. It’s very versatile and compatible with several usb cords, flash drives and SIM cards. Only con would be the usb plugs are kind of close together. When trying to plug in two items (ex Flash drive and iPhone charger) they sit at an angle. Aside from that, it’s great rather than getting a desktop hub and having to plug it in each time. So, quality isn’t the highest. It’s plastic but as long as you’re not plugging and unplugging it numerous times a day, it gets the job done.

I bought this adapter for my Surface Pro 4 so I could get the ports that I need on a regular basis (HDMI, ethernet, additional USB, cards reader etc). As soon as I tried to pop it in, the housing popped loose and exposed the circuitboard inside. Not only that, the connectors were not properly alligned so I could not even fully insert it into my Surface! I am getting a replacement soon, but if that one remains the same, I will turn this into a complete 0/5

So here's the thing: I love what this adapter/hub can do, whether give me more usb ports, run a HDMI cable to my monitor, and even provide ethernet for a faster internet browsing experience. However, when I attempt to run all together my monitor (HDMI port), ethernet, and my wireless keyboard and mouse (two different usb ports) the mouse only works like half the time. It moves, doesn't move. Stop and go. It is not all the time stop go, but when it is there it is hella annoying. I also have to admit that during use even with only one thing plugged in, it gets really hot, up to the point you can barely keep touching it. I do think that the speed of this adapter/hub might be related to the temperature of itself.
