I recommend the following materials:
Heat Shrink tubes
3 Feet 16GA speaker wire to run from the amp to the speakers
1/4" and 3/16" quick disconnect male and female plugs. for connecting existing speaker wires and speakers without cutting original factory wires.
6 feet of 10-12Ga red power wire. Run under the chrome trim on top of the gas tank.
2 feet of 10-12Ga black ground wire. Run to the frame.
30Amp fuse and fuse holder. Near battery use buttconnector to your power wire and on the other end use round solderless terminal to battery.
Round solderless terminal
Double stick tape to hold it ontop of the exisitng radio. The amp will fit in any direction.
Make sure you use a proper crimp tool. Pliers will not work well.
As you know the stock system on the 2015-16 Harley STUCK. I could hear about 45mph and that's with a taller shield, replaced the speakers better but still not where it should be.
Install this amp in your Glide you won't be sorry.
After adjusting the gain I can't believe how loud and clear it is with just the two front speakers, and I was thinking about getting the four channel sister amp because I thought about installing bag speaker at sometime, I really don't think I need rear speakers...
I reviewed some videos on how to take fairing off and there was one about installing a kenwood amp and he spliced into a wire to get power which is probably fine, but the instructions on this amp suggested to run a power wire straight from the battery which I did, I did find a switched 12v not being used and was able to spliced that for the amp remote, it took me probably four hours to do this project. I ran new speaker wire though the stock grommets also, heat shrank all connectors, wire tied everything neat, running the wires to the battery is a pain I had a fish tape so that helped after taking the two tank bolts out and propping up the tank.
Oh one other thing I did buy was a DSP line-level shifter (Magic Box), which from what I've read you need on the newer Harley systems, worked out good no spicing of the stock unit speak connectors.
So the speakers were $135, Amp $152, Magic box $70= $357 cheaper than upgrading through Harley and I can't imagine it sounding near as good....
Hope this helps everybody on 2015-16 Glides..
I was not interested in blasting ghettos or "impressing" people in other vehicles with my audio system. I only wanted to have nice, clean, loud sound and that's exactly what this amp provides. Space in my vehicle was limited so this thing's tiny size is a great benefit since I wanted all of this stuff to be hidden.
If I had to mention any minor complaints it would be the manner by which wires are connected because I'd have preferred more standardized plugs and 4 gauge power/ground connections, but this is a minor complaint.
My main complaint is that the thing gets hot. Very hot. I can't help but wonder if the daily fluxuation from intense heat to cold will damage the internal components after a while. I would not recommend placing this directly against carpet and on mine I mounted it to a piece of diamond-plate aluminum with washers lifting it from the plate. This allows air to circulate around the entire device and allows the plate to act as a big heat sink.

Bought this for my Victory Cross Country, and now you can definitely hear me coming and going!Published 12 days ago by Dylan
This is a nice amp for the price. It is small and fits nice in the fairing of my road glide. It is not going to blow you away as it is not a superpower full amp but I am very happy... Read morePublished 20 days ago by Michael
Not very good when it gets warm. And there are no vents to keep it cooler on my Road Glide. I would not recommend this model. Get the newer one with the built-in fans.Published 1 month ago by Edward P. Callahan
