Normally I don't hate cliffhangers if the book actually feels like an actual book. This book didn't give me enough in the first story. I don't do spoilers, but I will say that the 2nd book should have been about Tanya and Leo, not part 2 jax story.

I will admit that when I first read the synopsis of this book I was a little leery of the storyline. I sometimes have a hard time with stories that feature secret children that no one knows about for years and where the child never asks about the missing parent, or the parent doesn't really seem to have remorse about keeping the secret. This is not one of those stories as I thought it was very well written.

First of all, I loved all of the characters. They were so well developed and realistic that the story hooked me from the very beginning. Kendal's relationship with Finn was very well written and made the story emotional to show how she constantly second guessed her decision to not tell Jax about the baby. I have read similar books where there is a secret pregnancy and they have been written to make it appear so easy for the mother to walk away and raise the child. I find that extremely unbelievable. Raising a child is a big commitment and I like that Fisher developed a good support base for Kendal and Finn. The supporting characters may not have believed that Kendal's choice was the best, but they supported her no matter what which is what true dedicated friends do. Jax is such a strong character and you can tell from the beginning that all he has ever wanted was a family and he was hoping him and Kendal would have that. It is heartbreaking in parts to know Finn exists when Jax has no idea.

When Kendal hears of Jax's relocation to their hometown you instantly wonder how long it will be until she sees him and tells him the truth about their son.

Where do I begin? There were so many words spelled incorrectly, grammar errors, missing words, extra words, repetitiveness, and punctuation errors! And I actually paid money for this book! Did I actually receive a rough draft instead of the finished product?

I happen to see this book on Facebook and I thought it would be a good read. I was not wrong because I was in love with this book from the first chapter and I could not put it down. I love how the characters intertwined with each other story's,

My heart broke for Kendal and Jax during this story with what they have had to go through, But when true love meant to be their is nothing that can stop it or can their be,

This was an amazing story to read. I would say this is a must read book.

4-4.5 stars. I was sucked into this book because the plot was great. I loved the characters, too, especially the strength of friendship among everyone, particularly those who cared about Kendal and Jax. That certainly eliminated unnecessary drama and emphasized the maturity of their ages (mid 20s). I get why Kendal did what she did and the regret that came with it. Jax never ceased to amaze me. Kendal was put in a situation that had a hard decision involved and while it wasn't ideal, she meant it with the best of intentions. Jax didn't forget her and missed her so he doesn't want to lose his second chance to be with Kendal again. I admired his persistence and humbleness. Kendal held back her feelings quite a bit and I wished she would not have but I know she was being cautious for her son and herself. Can't wait to see how it all pans out in the next book now that the cat's out of the bag.

Rockstar Daddy by K.T. Fisher is the first book in the Decoy series.

This book has given me reviewers block. I loved it! But when it comes time to write about the book I find I'm full of OMG's and WTF's and Holy Crap's.

A desperate choice when Kendal finds out she's pregnant causes Jax to be completely unaware that he's a father for FOUR whole years. She knows he never would have reached the level of success with his band Decoy that he has if he'd been around for their son Finley.

Problem is, he's back in town AND she wants to tell him and have him be in Finleys's life. After some massive coincidences that can only be put down to fate and good fortune Jax discovers the truth, but what happens next?

This story was amazing and when I got to the cliffhanger ending I believe I actually screamed a little. Then I realized that book two was available on Amazon so I bought it right away and continued the story. Phew! That was also good fortune. I absolutely frigging loved this book and now I need to go as I still have 50% of Rockstars Girl left to read.

After reading the reviews I thought this book would be really great. I had just finished rereading the Stage Dive series by Kylie Scott and wanted more rock star love, I thought this would help my literary craving. I gotta say that there was never a high point to this book. There was a lot of unnecessary details, and it seemed like it was just thrown in to make the book longer.
The characters themselves were just okay. I often found Kendal to be annoying and whiney. I didn't fall in love with Jax either. He's supposed to have this bad boy persona for the band, but he kinda seems wimpy at moments. I know he loves her, but still.
There's a cliffhanger to this book, everything worth happening is in the last 10 pages and then she just cuts it off. Of course I had to buy the second book to see what would happen and it's more of the same thing.
There's rarely any kind of tension between the characters. Everything just seems to fall into place for this couple and its too perfect to be believable.
If you like books where everything is packaged up with a nice little bow, barely any tension, and some forgettable characters, this may be the series for you. I can say I won't be continuing with the series.
