Please forgive me for my impatience after reading Rockstar Daddy, but I hate cliffhangers. And I'm a book brat. Well, Rockstar's Girl was worth the wait. I love, love the sequel!! This book begins with Kendal telling Jax that Finley is his son. Jax is hurt of course because of the lost time, but he handles it in such a sweet way. There were no major tantrums, drinking binges or other negative Rockstar behavior. I love, love Jax. Kendal was ok. At times she just got in her own way. But she did have a good cast of supportive friends, and everyone wanted to see her and Jax happy because they know that they love each other. BTW Finley sounded just precious. A 3 year old who dressed better than most men :) A sweet story and a good end to Kendal and Jax. I think i'll call this rockstar lite...It's nice to see a story about a musician that is not on a tour bus the entire book!!! I'm looking forward to Leo and Tanya's story!! Thank you K.T.

Not only was this a good story, but the power of forgiveness was wonderful. We could all learn a lesson from it. With that said I couldn't put it down until I finished it. I love that the past was left in the past and everyone moved forward with life. I hope to see more of Kendal and Jax's life's intertwined within the the next book. Like the wedding of Jax and Kendal. And the upcoming birth's of Kendal and Sophie's babies. I also hope to see books of the rest of the characters, both band members and friends. I can see where there is a lot more to be said. Thank you T.K.:)

I almost forgot about Finley. He is just the cutest, sweetest and smartest little boy. Thank you for his character.

Loving this series. Glad I got the first book in this series. Love her MC books so I had to check out her other writing. And I am so glad that I did.
Jax is an awesome guy. I mean whom doesn't love a sexy lead singer to a Rock band. The instant love he has for his son is just heart melting. The love he has always felt for Kendall is amazing.
Kendall is so humble, loved her character. She is weary of the lifestyle of a RockStar, but giving Jax a chance is a great decision for her to make.
Getting ready to start book 3 and cannot wait to read more of this series. Falling in love with this set of characters.
Thanks Jamie Nibarger Ellis

Rockstar Girl
Book 2 of the Decoy series. I really enjoyed this.
What would you expect from Jax after he finds out that he has a son who is almost four. You would expect him to be angry, upset, mad, get drunk, scream at the mother, hate her, flip out etc. But No Jax did none of that, he decided that 4 years had been wasted already and he decide to be the perfect daddy and was even more hell bent on getting Kendal back. He knows he never got over her, he has always loved her. He now wants it all, his family. Little Finley is adorable and you really fall in love with him. He is a mini Jax – too cute.
This story covers the reconnection of Jax and Kendal. It also connects with Reece and Sophie. At the same time it hints that there is more going on with Leo and Tan. (I think this might become book 3)
This book allows you to feel the insecurities that a young Kendal had where Jax was concerned. It also shows you what a strong character Jax is. It shows Kendal as a protective mother.
I thought this book was awesome

Okay, first of all, we spend literally 98% of book one waiting for Kendal to tell Jax about his son. The first part basically revolves around the wedding of their friends. Boring! In the second book there's none and I mean NONE of the drama described in the blurb. The paparazzi? They snap a couple of pictures when they're out in public. No drama whatsoever. No bad publicity. And the "ex?" She approaches Jax ONCE at a club literally for less than two minutes and is never heard from again. I'm really disappointed with the way the story played out. I feel like I've wasted $5 on both of these books.

4-4.5 stars. Jax and Kendal's story continues. I liked the natural progression between them, how neither of them wanted to rush into a relationship because they were both thinking about their son, Finley, first. Kendal held back a lot more than Jax, though, and some of those reservations I didn't quite understand except that she was somewhat insecure or thought that Jax would want to live a rockstar life and not be tied down in any way. However, having spent enough time in Jax's POV, that is far from the truth. Jax surprised me as a character in a very good way, how committed and focused he was on Kendal and Finley. Despite having lived the rockstar lifestyle, his real dream was to have a family with Kendal and no other woman. He could have been more angry, more resentful, more unforgiving - he could have been a lot of those things and more when Kendal broke the news to him but he wasn't. He was quickly able to move on with life and enjoy what blessings he was given and I loved that quality about him. Kendal was already hard enough on herself. Kendal really lucked out in a lot of ways, and with their awesome network of friends, she had a great support system in place. I'm glad she and Jax were able to reunite.
