Its easy to use:
Just pour 1 quarter of the bottle (8 ounces) into a toilet and flush. Do this just before bed so that the cleaner stays in the line for while without being washed or flushed out by further sewer line usage. That is all there is to it!
This stuff really works:
The house was build in 1916 and the systems are very old. We had constant problems with the main sewer line backing up, creating a mess in the basement. We snaked the main line a dozen times in a year, and the problems kept coming back. I decided to resort to the Roebic bacterial cleaner because it would not damage the pipes like chemical cleaners. The bacteria will eat away the potential clogs but won't harm metal or pvc pipes. To clean out the line after the latest snaking, we did 4 consecutive treatments on four consecutive nights (1 bottle is enough for 4 treatments). After that, we have been following the recommended 1 treatment once a month pattern for the last 4 months, and have not had any further issues with the sewer backing up.
I also used this cleaner to keep the main line in my apartment building running clear. I owned the building for 4 years, and I would run 8 ounces through every other week to keep the main line clear. Again, this was an old building, I liked that the bacterial cleaner would eat away the potential clogs without risking damage to the old pipes posed by using chemical cleaners.
It is an older home, and as the foundation has settled some of the pipes have a different pitch than they were when originally installed.
The kitchen line runs down to the basement and then over to the main line out. Originally, the line ran straight down and then did an almost "L" and had a slight decline to the main line. With settling, it does a more than "L" and has to go slightly uphill to get to the main. This means that even the small amount of grease from the dishwasher, rinsing the last little bit off of plates, etc. gets trapped down below the concrete of the basement floor.
The K-97 worked like a champ and cleared it out.
Five years ago, I had to call in a plumber to rotor out the clog at the cost of high three figures, but for less than $20 we were able to self correct the problem this time.
I highly recommend this product!
It's the only product that I found that is recommended for use by those customers on city water/sewer. All the rest of the products are just for septic systems.
I think I will use a bottle of this stuff once a year as a preventive measure.

I bought this item for our daughter - her plumbing was always backing up and this remedy worked wonders and saved her from having to call a plumber. $ 15 versus $300?? A bargain!Published 1 month ago by Becca
We hope it is working. So far, our sewer lines remain clear, so we plan to continue doing this every few weeks. Sure beats paying a plumber or RotoRooter.Published 1 month ago by raynpat
