Item itself is well made and engineered. It does require some minor assembly to adjust it precisely to your phone and case. My reason for the 2 stars is that the supplied sync/charge cord is a non-Apple certified item and would not work with my iPhone 6. I decided to just use a spare Apple brand cord and to move on. I am in need of another charging/docking station and will probably not buy this one again due to the cord issue, and I also think it is priced to high overall.

A great dock supplied with a poor quality cable. Cable failed in a little over 3 months of use. Cable was never abused, always used in the dock and iPhone6 inserted only 1x/day. We have several iPhone6 all of which have associated cables. We've had the phones since they came out and none of the Apple or other vendor cables have failed even with far great use.

For the money, I was disappointed with this product. I bought it due to its heavy weight. However.....the entire Rokform dock lifted up along with my phone. Also, the tiny screw made a hole through to the copper wires of my good Apple lightning charger---even though I made a point of not screwing too tightly per the Rokform instruction manual. Returned this item.

Finally a charging that'll hold my iPhone 6! Nice and heavy so it won't tip over easily but small enough to fit on nightstand.
BUT the charging cord is too short, I had to add an extension cord to reach the wall outlet

Very solid unit. It is on pricey side but I feel it is worth it. Started out using it as car mount, which was great, but it is now by bed side charger. Adjustments allow to make it work with most any case. Can also replace cable easily.

Product has some good mass to it, nice platform. However, the cord is a bit short and mine is already broken. The lightning adapter portion of the cord had to much interference with the base and while trying to wiggle it in, it came loose from the sheath and is now virtually worthless. I'm likely sending this back unless they send me a new cord.

There's nothing in the instructions about heating it up before inserting the cord, but I'm thinking I should have thrown the base in the oven for a few minutes.

Its heavy but it works as promised. This is a pricey block of metal, but you can set your phone on it to charge if you have a Rokform case. Everything Rokform is expensive, but then so is everything Apple. This works as designed, and will charge your phone with the Rofform case on it.
