Fabulous amplifier! I use for keyboarding gigs, and am really pleased with the low end rich sound and clear high ends. I've auditioned many amplifiers over the years and pound for pound this one is a terrific performer! I recently splurged a bit and also bought a KC-350, which give a little extra oomph at venues. The 350 likes to stay in the car because it's a beast to carry but this one is very manageable.

I also started using the KC-150 with my electric guitar and bass. I've noticed it does an excellent job with my Digitech RP-500 Amp modeling multi effects pedal. Surprised? I was a bit, but actually it's exactly what you want with today's latest amp modeling technology. You don't want to color the sound more. I think it makes alot of sense that a keyboard amp could handle a guitar well because of the huge range that a piano needs to cover on it's own. Yes it doesn't have drive like a true guitar amp, but I like clean sounds and my pedals do all the effects I need and ithe amp has no trouble transmitting them.

The mixing functionality is also very useful. You can send a few instruments, adjusts their levels and have a fully mixed line level out, ready for PA or recording! I play covers so I can play the original into one of the line ins and easily mix it with my instrument for a great practice at home. You can even use the headphones so you don't bother a soul!

I strongly recommend getting a nice stand for the amplifier as getting it off the floor really lets it shines and removes a bit of low-end excess.

5 stars. Awesome for small gigs and home!

I borrowed this amp for a friend and now plan to buy one. We used it for a coffeehouse-style event with 2 mics positioned to pick up the singer and acoustic instrument. Worked great, plenty of sound for the venue and easy to transport. Plus you don't need a roadie to set it up!

This amp has it all multiple channels so you can play and sing over the amp with different mixes. Good power for small to medium size rooms Excellent for the Home. Some people may think this is over kill for a home unit but I disagree. Because you have the extra power you can actually play at acoustic piano and drum kit levels with out pushing or working the amp too hard, and you still get a beautiful clear sound.

You can also hook up your CD player or MP3 to it for the drummers or singers who like singing to a track. For what it does it is pretty compact and light weight.

You can pay a guitar through it electric or acoustic/electric but don't expect too much even when you put your pedals thru it. It amplify's them but for my money if I want to play my Les Paul Marshall's are the way to go.

I play Roland V-Drums and a Yamaha MOX8 88 key thru it and they are fantastic sounding. This amp is no hype and all performance!
