Sure it’s expensive for what it is but the fit and the feel of the material is fantastic. Install was a bit of a pain for the lens hood but everything else went on easily. The design and patterns are also very nice. The zoom ring moves with ease and does not get snagged or caught up.

Each piece fits very tightly to the lens, the lens hood piece was the hardest to get on, A couple of pieces had velcro attachments making it very easy, one of these velcro pieces covers the controls for IS, AF, etc. I would prefer that flap to be detachable rather than dangling in the wind so to speak when accessing those controls. This is the only feature I disliked about it. I did not use the pieces that go around the zoom ring or AFring as I prefer the touch of the ribbed mfr's material to a smooth fabric.

Fits quite well, and I feel a little better taking my "precious" into the wild.
TBH, it's 10% for the camo, 80% for the protection and 10% for bragging rights.
Price point: A bit on the high side.

Why in **Gawd's name** would you send a product with a how-to sheet 100% in Chinese?

If you are a pure wildlife or bird shooter the jungle or forest style color is surely the right design for you but if you shoot any other thing and wanted to get a good protective cover I would be highly recommend the multi color or UCP waterproof, I both have the jungle and UCP , the latter gets more compliments and gives the lens a little bit more good looks.

After much research, I bought the Rolanpro Waterproof Lens Cover for my Sony 200-600mm lens. I purchased the lens cover after reading many reviews that praised its build quality and ease of installation. The cover was very easy to install, and from some of the photos you can see that the attention to detail, the quality of stitching, and the exact fit are really good. Each piece is carefully crafted with cutouts or Velcro right where they need to be to expose the controls. I also picked up the extra piece designed for the 1.4x TC. The installation instructions are in Chinese, and I did translate them using Google Translate, but it’s not too hard to figure out which numbered piece goes where.

After years of photographing wildlife with my glaring white lenses, I finally decided to bite the bullet and try a camo cover for my biggest lens. It also will protect the lens from scratches. I have to say that the fit of the pieces is very good...nice and snug. Finesse is needed more than intelligence to apply the different pieces to the lens. While the directions are written in Chinese, the pictures are good and each piece is numbered.

The material is made of a lightly padded canvas, and it seems to be very durable. My lens hood still flips around and fits on the lens nicely even with the thickness of the cover there. I took a star off because some of the pieces that fit closer to the camera are a wee bit wonky and the piece that covers your focal distance settings completely covers up those settings. You can easily peal back that part of the piece, as Velcro is used to attach it and maybe it will keep some photographers from accidentally bumping one of those settings. I need to do more field testing to see if that little piece stays on the camera. It would be very easy to just take it off...no harm, no fowl. I feel like this is a pretty good set up and will prolong the life of my lens...although I don't think I'll be fooling wild animals and birds with it.

I own two ROLANPRO lens covers. The 200-600 cover and a 100-400 GM cover. Both have the same pros and cons. The pieces fit very snugly. Much better than lens coat. I like the material of the ROLANPRO better than the soft neoprene of the lens coat. Where the minor issue is though, is that the piece that sits closest to the camera hangs off the back edge, so it interferes with connecting the lens to the camera. This is not an issue on the 100-400 cover, and based on many photos it seems a lot of people have this same issue. Outside of that small inconvenience, it's a great cover.

Great lens cover, with only minor caveat

The camo pattern is great. Fits the lens very well. Mostly easy to put on the lens, though a few pieces were pretty tight (this is actually good and results in more secure fit). A couple of the pieces tend to move a little on the lens, but it’s no big deal as they can easily be rotated back so that buttons are accessible. The only caveat and reason I can’t give this an unreserved perfect rating is this: on all Sony cameras prior to the newer body design found in the a7rIV and more recent, the section of cover closest to the camera body is thick enough that it makes it uncomfortable to get your grip fully in place, and the lens cover rubs the back of your fingers near your fingernails significantly. So far I have ignored this, but it has almost led me to remove that piece and just leave that section of lens uncovered. Of course, Sony also shares some blame in making an inadequately open grip too!

- pazienza e difficoltà nel posizionare i primi anelli
- mancanza della spiegazione è copertura della staffa che questa ottica ha

Nonostante questa difficoltà al montaggio (che poi è legato alla precisione della cover) e che ti fa passare la voglia di smontarla 😂 (io ci ho messo mezz ora a metterla) la cover è il top sul mercato al momento

Arriva con foglio di istruzioni in cinese ma con disegni che fanno capire bene come fare.

Per i primi anelli (paraluce e arte della lente più lontana dalla macchina fotografica) aiutatevi con il bordo di un tavolo a far scivolare l anello di copertura.

Ovviamente (cosa che non c è scritta) per poterlo montare dovete togliere la staffa

OCCHIO UTENTI SONY: con le nuove ergonomie (a9ii, 7r4 e 5 o A1) se già avete problemi con l impugnatura per poco spazio per le dita , con questa cover la cosa peggiorerà
