The buttons on the camera feel uncertain and fragile. Maybe they are reproducing the tactile sensations of the original camera with admirable fidelity but they did not give the impression of durability.
The cover for the battery and SD card is tricky to get off the first time. It also does not feel like it has really locked into place when you put it back. You want to feel confident that it is secure since there is no hinge to it and it is not attached to the camera in any way when it is not engaged. If it falls open, it is gone.
Not the fault of the camera but Amazon had a pairing of this camera and an SD card. Be aware that this camera takes a mini SD card. I do not begrudge the purchase of the SD because I can and will use it for other things but it would not be possible to use it with this camera.
It will also be impossible for me to use the card with this camera because I have sent the camera back.
