Great bridge product between the race and recreational skate worlds
Fit With Style
Engineered mesh adds breathability and allows the upper to wrap around the feet for improved fit. Having drier feet, more comfort and a skate to properly hug your feet elevates the skate experience. While its function is a standout feature its cosmetic appeal keeps it fashion forward.
The High Performance liner of the Macroblade 100 3WD is one of the most comfortable liners you can skate in. The padding in the tongue and ankle areas cushion the feet for more enjoyable and comfortable skating. Combined with the engineered mesh uppers the Macroblade 100 3WD will feel like slippers with wheels
The 10.8" 3WD frames are rigid, stable and have a lower profile design to lower the center of gravity with increased speed and maneuverability. Supreme 100mm/85A wheels maximize roll, grip, speed and wear. They are a true upgrade in performance and make a difference in the skate experience. The 3x100mm set up is poised to become the new “go-to” size for many looking to upgrade or elevate their skating because they add a little more speed to the 4x90mm set up but have a shorter wheel base for more maneuverability. SG9 bearings are fast, superior and facilitate additional speed.
All About Performance
The Macroblade structure supports all abilities of skaters comfortably. It has the ideal mix of flex and lateral support to enable longer skating sessions with less foot fatigue. The aluminum buckle securely fastens the feet with durability while the strap and lace with lace lock system anchors the heels in for the perfect fit to minimize heel lift. One great feature of the versatility of the Macroblade 100 3WD is racers can experience a higher boot with the speed they are familar with and rec skaters can experience speed with the higher support they are familiar with.
Inline skating complements an active lifestyle
Benefits Of Inline Skating
Improves coordination, agility & dynamic balance (balance while your body is in motion)
Increases Core Strength- Postural, abdominal, and back extensor muscles, get a great workout while skating.
Builds Aerobic Exercise Benefits- increases your heart rate and gets your lungs working, both components in aerobic exercise.
Builds Anaerobic Exercise Benefits- Inline skating provides anaerobic benefits, such as muscle strengthening and toning.
Weight Loss and Maintenance- Inline skating at 10mph on a regular basis not only burns about 6 calories a minute, or 360 calories an hour, but also turns fat into muscle - a double benefit.
Low Impact Exercise- While skating has the bone density enhancing benefits of being a weight bearing activity, the smooth push and glide motion has minimal impact on the joints.
Increases Self-Confidence- Probably the greatest fitness benefit of all is that inline skating is fun and gives you a sense of accomplishment as you tackle new fitness challenges.
Inline skating is a fun and exhilarating activity but like other sports can include accidental falls or spills. Wear the protective gear whenever possible to help increase confidence as well as protect the body. Rollerblade has helmets and a great selection of pads to choose from. Bladegear XT offers quality protection at a value price. Lux Gear Plus and X-Gear 3-packs (wristguards, knee pads, elbow pads) introduce technical materials and elevated anatomical design for superior protection from the pavement.
Use The Chart To Find Your Skate Size
Most skates follow your shoe size.
Once you have the correct size of skates it is always best to check the following items below to ensure a proper fit:
- The skate's closure system should be secured snugly ensuring the heel is locked in. It also helps to give the heel a little tap on the floor to push it into the rear of the boot.
- When standing with knees bent or skating, the heel should be secure and have no to minimal lift. In the skating position the heel tends to settle back into the skate and demonstrate the true fit. A skate that is too loose can compromise ankle support
- Toes should not be pressed against the front of the skate or cramped.
- Better skaters tend to like when their toes lightly brush against the toe area because they know their heels will settle back giving them the proper room and allowing the skate to feel like a true extension of their foot. This is all personal preference.
- Skate socks make a big difference in the performance and fit of skates

Macroblade 100 3WD W is one of the fastest skates with superior lateral support. The higher boot design works well with the 3x100 set up to release one's inner racer. This skate is a great bridge product between the race and recreational skate worlds. Racers get to experience a higher boot with the speed they are familar with and rec skaters experience speed with the higher support they are familiar with. Seasoned skaters seem to gravitate to this model because of its overall support, speed, comfort and 3WD frame. High end components, high-quality engineered mesh uppers and a very secure closure system with speed lacing make this a stylish, fast and great choice for someone serious about skating but does not want a lower profile race boot. Brake is on the skate.

First, the inline skates aren't the most comfortable. I had areas where the boot cut into my ankles and legs. I ended up having blisters and marks on my legs (not so great for summer dresses and trying to show off those legs that you worked so hard to get in shape).
Second, the mechanism to tighten them is difficult. The part where you tighten the laces is located under two straps. It is challenging to tighten the laces while keeping the velcro strap and plastic pieces out of the way.
Third, the wheels are clunky and heavy. I've decided that I am not a fan of the large three wheel system. I feel as though it slows me down and makes maneuverability more difficult.
Finally, I have owned the Rollerblade brand in the past; I loved my skates. I am very disappointed in these skates and they are not cheap!
I hope that this helps; happy blading;)
