I have had severe back pain for years due to a car accident. Using this feel like literal agony, but I truly notice a difference when I use it. It mainly seems to help my upper back, especially when the muscles are really tight and tense.
I roll on it with my arms over my head, and it doesn't pop my back, but it seems to have a similar result to having a deep tissue massage in my shoulders and neck.
I can normally only use it for about 1 minute, and am in agony for the entire minute, but it is worth it for the result. I would highly recommend this to anyone with severe back pain, does way more than normal foam rollers

Used at PT clinic & loved it so much, I bought it on Amazon! The 4 bumped out in combo with concave areas in different depths do WONDERS for myofascial pain & trigger point relief in my neck, all areas of my legs, & lower back. It comes with a convenient adjustable carrying strap for on the go. The purple is a beautiful almost shimmery color! About 18+" length. Also great for headache relief. I highly recommend.
