"I am impressed by this hand missal which, so far, is probably the best I have seen. If you are looking for something for yourself or as a gift, this would be a great choice." --Fr. John Zuhlsdorf, WDTPRS.Com/Blog
I'm quite sold on the Baronius Press edition of the 1962 Daily Missal for several reasons. The first being that it is endorsed by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter. I really believe in what they are doing and would like to support their efforts. Baronius seems like an excellent publisher of traditional or old Catholic books. They publish them beautifully and in what looks to be extremely high quality. I've read a lot of good things about their books on the internet, so I feel like I can trust their edition not to fall apart after a year or two. They have a lot of extras included as well. Listed in their features is "the Churching of Women", which I am especially interested in reading about...:-) --Absolutely No Spin blog, August 14, 2006
The Baronius Press 1962 Daily Missal is essential for any Catholic Gentleman who aspires to appreciate the beauty and fullness of the Catholic Faith. Summorum Pontificum, one of Pope Benedict s XVI s many gifts to the modern Church, ushered in a new era of appreciation for the Mass of the Ages, Tradition, liturgical seasons, and the authentic Catholic culture that inspires saintly behavior. The 1962 Daily Missal is the key to unlocking this momentous and wondrous gift, the lens through which the Catholic Gentleman can examine and appreciate its contents. Like everything that Baronius publishes, the 1962 Daily Missal is a true work of art. The pictures are worthy of the holy contents of the missal, and contrast sharply with the scribbles in the modern paperback missals found in parish pews. The binding and cover are built to withstand the frequent study every Catholic Gentleman should give his prayers. --Whiskey Catholic, February 23, 2015
