About the Author
Fred's TV Interview http://www.nbcsandiego.com/video/#!/on-air/as-seen-on/Politically-Speaking--Raising-Political-IQ/213548241 Fred Schnaubelt was born in San Diego, California in 1941. He was elected President of Taxpayers Concerned for 1972 and in 1974 was appointed to the San Diego County Board of Public Welfare. From 1977 to 1981 he served on the San Diego City Council casting more "no votes than all other councilmembers combined. Fulfilling a campaign promise to serve only one term, he did not run for re-election. He was invited to testify before the U.S. President's Commission on Housing and the U.S. House of Representatives Banking Committee. He has served as a director of San Diego Apartment Association, Board of Realtors, First Centennial Title Insurance Company, and American Thrift & Loan Association. Fred has published over 100 articles on economics, real estate and politics in various newspapers. In 1986 he served as a television panelist for "ON EDGE" a weekly TV Program on Southwestern Cable. In 1987 he married microbiologist Irina Antonova in Moscow, USSR. From 1996-1999 he hosted the radio Talk Shows, The Fred Schnaubelt Show and Schnaubelt's Editorial Page. His son Chris is a retired Army Colonel living in Washington D.C. and his daughter Leslie lives and works in San Diego. Fred is currently President of Citizens for Private Property Rights and been a commercial real estate broker since 1968. Fred has been studying politics for over 50 years and has taken the most persuasive responses from over 500 books on major issues that return year after year. These political talking points will enable you to review a particular subject in less than five minutes, formulate an opinion and strike while the iron is hot. Have you ever been in a discussion and after departing said, “I wish I would have thought of that?” Have you ever been honeyfuggled by a politician? Have you known you were going to a party or political event and knew there might be “stimulating or controversial” discussions on the “Topic of the Day?” Here are some great “Zingers” for a game of “gotcha,” Letters to the Editor, or debate talking points? You can then research deeper explanations or more recent data (when more convenient). With this information you will know more than your associates, know more than most reporters and know more than most politicians on the issues covered in this short, concise book.
