This has been an outstanding series from the start, with spine-tingling action and suspense I enjoyed immensely. Romance was always mostly in the background but grew within each episode, their near-symbiotic connection present in both partnerships, on and off the job. The personal aspect is allowed to bloom in this story, and seeing how attuned they are to one another is delightful. I highly recommend the series but mostly to readers who enjoy the action and law enforcement aspect, rather than those who prefer a higher level of romantic or erotic content. This final installment perfectly satisfied my romance demands and left me with plenty of happy feels.

Andreas and Darren have been through really hard times together. Their relationship has only been growing stronger despite the difficult times they had to face. Now is the time to leave the problems aside and face a future together. Andreas decided it was time to get married and as they start planning the wedding, the responsibilities associated to it and the difficult family relationships are starting to overwhelm the pair and have them thinking if all of it is really worth it.
This was just beautiful. I didn't think I would miss the action associated with this series but I did, that's the only issue I had with it, but I'm certainly pleased with what this instalment bring and I'm feeling really grateful that the authors finally had shown some mercy on this beautiful couple and let them enjoy their love. Sure, not everything was perfect, in fact there were a lot of problems for them, but the different kind they are used to.
It is a more lightened up story with a steady pace, it had a lot of romance on it and it worked as a perfect ending to the series. I guess we all wanted to see a happy ending after all that Andreas and Darren have been through. I was smiling all the time and, sure, I struggle a bit to hold back tears at some moment. It was impossible not to understand how much Darren and Andreas love each other. It was simply beautiful. I loved the family dynamics too, it's always something that got my attention. The families were as imperfect as they are themselves, exactly the kind of touch of reality I expect when I read a book. They made things so complicated and it was absolutely believable and so frustrating. I loved it.
Overall this was a fantastic book. Recommended to people looking for something romantic to read, but it wouldn't work as a standalone. To be able to enjoy it, it's better to read the previous instalments of this highly recommended series.
Romantic Behavior had a bit of a different feel with a more relaxed pacing than the full-length novels in the series. As much as I enjoyed the excitement as Andreas and Darren worked through their cases, it was equally great to get more insight into their lives away from the precinct. Readers finally had the chance to see them as a couple first and foremost, rather than as partners turned lovers and, for me, it cemented just how strong a relationship they had built over the series. Once again, I was struck by how much of an emotional connection Andreas and Darren have and how well the authors weave those moments into the narrative. For those that have been waiting for that emotional chemistry to translate to physical- you certainly won’t be disappointed. While there was definitely a quieter feel to this story, I was pleased there was still a balanced rhythm to the writing with plenty of the fun banter I’ve come to expect from these characters. No doubt I’ll miss these guys, but this was the happily-ever-after Darren and Andreas deserved and I was hoping for (and those vows *sigh*). Romantic Behavior proved to be a great wrap-up to a fantastic series I highly recommend for anyone who likes romantic suspense or law-enforcement romances.
