Review

This is how to write a plot-driven story!

You know when you read a story and you remember every single thing? That's exactly my experience with Romeo Stalker. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

Irene Woodbury is a skilled and talented writer who knows how to write a story and make all the different parts connect perfectly. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

Besides being a greatly thrilling and vivacious narrative, Romeo Stalker brings our attention to a serious issue that affects different women around the world: dangerous, controlling spouses. Therefore, I highly recommend Romeo Stalker to readers who have left or are looking to leave a toxic relationship.
Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

Woodbury has her pulse on dramatic women's fiction, delivering characters and situations that seem over-the-top until you realize this kind of thing happens every day to real people just like Jen and Colton. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

You will connect empathetically with Jen as she tries to get on with her life, but irrational Zane won't let her. He's the ex that can't let go, and poor Colton is in the crossfire with her. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

I like how Woodbury makes Las Vegas come so alive for readers that it's like a character itself. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

While this novel has its share of tension
and suspense, it also has a heart and is anchored in truth. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

Romeo Stalker by Irene Woodbury is a tantalizing romantic thriller that won't disappoint. Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review

What you will read here is a romantic thriller that sweeps an obsessed ex-lover into psychotic proportions. Readers' Favorite 4-Star Review

Author Irene Woodbury has distinguished herself as an author by mixing thriller and romance well. This is a must-read romance tale that will put you on edge. Readers' Favorite 4-Star Review

Luckily for all you fans of romantic fiction, Irene Woodbury knows that what happens in Las Vegas doesn’t have to stay there. The Denver-based author has captured the heart and soul of Sin City in four darkly funny novels, and two dramatic ones.

Porch Pirate Love (2022), explores the turbulent romance between an annoying porch pirate and a sassy single mom-to-be. A Slot Machine Ate My Midlife Crisis (2021), is an up-close-and-personal look at a newlywed’s funny midlife crisis in Vegas. In darkly humorous Honeymoon Roulette (2021), a bride goes rogue after learning her handsome fiance may have killed his first two wives. Its companion novella, Annie & Charlotte: The Dead Wives of Connor J. Barrington, was also published in 2021.

On the darker side, the gritty, engrossing Romeo Stalker (2021), chronicles a Vegas showgirl’s agonizing plunge into stalker-hell. And Love and Payback (2021) is a probing look at a married woman’s mysterious death in Sin City, where she has gone to meet an Internet love.

Irene, a successful travel writer whose favorite destinations are London and Las Vegas, is currently working on another novel. To follow her on Twitter, please visit @IreneWoodbury.
