Ronald D. Ferguson, PhD. (1942- ) was born in San Antonio, TX and taught college mathematics for many years. He holds a BA from Baylor University, an MA from University of North Texas, and PhD from Texas A&M. An active member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, he writes full-time, both fiction and non-fiction. His short fiction has appeared in Daily Science Fiction, The Universe Annex of the Grantville Gazette, Futures:Nature, Buzzy, New Myths,and elsewhere. He has published mathematics textbooks with McMillan(1) and with West(3). Among his interests are making stained glass, painting, woodworking, making wine, gardening, and travel. He and his wife live near the shadow of the Alamo with a dog named Cash.
