Format: Kindle Edition
Christopher Hitchens would rise from the dead (preternaturally if possible) should he come to learn that he shares a place in this book alongside Thomas Szasz, a man whose disseminations were the epitome of irrationality.
In 1969, Szasz co-founded The Citizens' Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) which is an activist group dedicated to classifying psychiatric treatments as human rights violations and furthering the Scientology doctrinal opposition to mainstream psychiatric therapies.
Since Szasz contributed so poisonously to the anti-psychiatry movement with his own personal biases and chilling contempt for facts, and since this book serves to perpetuate the tripe he peddled, I can only rate the book one star - for Hitchens contribution alone.

I have been reading Reason for at least 20 years; and, of course, Reason is the voice of reason. If you don't believe me, read this short series of articles and let everyone know your thoughts!
