Ember is a professional, an IT guru, on her first field op, and a scared little girl at heart. Rory is the senior agent, intense and intensely private about his personal life, and smitten with Ember. They are guarding the purported next Dalai Lama, a little four -year-old girl. There's murder, Chinese gangs, things blowing up, Tibetan monks, hopping on a moving train, and hospital stays. Lots of action in a beautifully written book. Of course, there's also
The TEAM, and a romance afoot. Something for everyone who enjoys romantic suspense.

I've followed the Sniper series since the beginning and have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the characters and their battles; Rory and Ember's story did not disappoint. There was something special about this one -- the transition from the cold, abrasive and high-walled Rory and slightly irritating Ember to the warm, vulnerable Rory and equally warm yet independent Ember was a delight to read. And as for supporting characters, Nima was a lovely addition that complimented their personalities.

Irish Winters certainly has a way with romance novels that make you fall in love with the characters and their journeys. I could hardly put it down, and can't wait to start the next one!

I wish I could say I can't get enough of the books in this series, but I looked ahead and the next book is a dollar more then the previous books (other than the first one). As great of a read that they have been, there are those of us out there that can't afford that dollar more. The next book for me will be along time coming before it's read. Thanks for the great ride so far though.

I have read all the books so far but this book was by far the most emotional. I was in tears reading about the relationship between Rory, Ember and Nima and what fierce parents Rory and Ember became. I sat in my chair and cried, (good tears) for the last half of the book. I do not remember a book touching me quite like this one did. I can't wait to read the rest of the books as they come out.

Irish Winter's Sniper series is a pure, one hundred percent, five star read!
Rory's story, and every other release in the series to date, have drawn me in and held me breathless from start to finish. The TEAM--a group of ex-military specialist led by Alex Stewart (the first book)--battle drug lords, terrorists, and all manner of bad guys, while teaming up with women who match them in strength and devotion; women whom they come to love amidst heartache and disaster.
I am a series addict, and can truly say that I haven't found a body of work as satisfying as this in a very long time. Thank you, Ms. Winters, for your exquisite attention to detail, for passing on your knowledge of military weaponry and terminology, and for your keen insight into the human physique. Your stories and characters have kept me spellbound, and make me beg for more!

I love all of Irish Winters book and they just keep getting better and better with every book. Rory is a tough guy with such a very tender heart. I love the way all your men can have and show all sides of their emotions even though they have been through some ugly stuff. Please keep these awesome books and men coming!!!

Let me start this by saying that I think this is Irish Winter's best one yet and I am pretty surprised by that because I loved Harley so hard, but Harley was an emotionally tough read and while this one had many emotional moments they were emotionally beautiful, not gut clenching sobbing kind of moments, haha. I felt like Rory's book was a bit of a departure from the last few books that revolved quite a bit around the hero's prior military experience and while I love that, I also loved this little twist and escape from the harshness that comes along with the types of military rolls these heroes had. This book was a bit of fresh air in the complexities of war and PTSD.

Rory and Ember have to be one of my all time favorite couples. They are both fighting so hard for what they love and fighting to overcome painful pasts. Ember, WOW (*snicker*), this girl rocks my world and I can see a lot of myself in her (although I am not near as much of a bad ass as she is). Yeah she's messed up, but she is not going to let that keep her down. She is an amazing lady who blows my mind with her wit, humor, heart, and plain bad assery! She is the kind of heroine that can take care of herself but when she falls she falls hard, both in love and in tears. The heart break she goes through in this story plain and simple took my breath away.
