Sweet story about a mouse becoming a ballerina and all her adventures as a ballerina. I love the illustrations too.

We have purchased most of the Angelina Ballerina series as my daughter loves the books, but this one was really terrible. We loved Angelina's Birthday, but it now seems like many of these stories are thin in plot at best. This story was just plain stupid and after I'd read it to my daughter once, she hasn't asked to hear it again. To me, that's the true test of the quality of a book - the best ones never get old. Skip this one!

Item arrived with a two-inch tear through the back cover and several pages. It was purchased as a gift but unusable.

It's a Christmas present and I'm sure that my granddaughter will love it.

Again, Angelina is not a Caldecott or a Newberry book, but it is a quick and easy look at some common feelings friendship can experience in little girls.

My 4 year old granddaughter and I started reading the "Angelina" books several months ago. She absolutely loves the stories and characters and I especially appreciate the way this particular story shows the importance of not letting fear stand in the way of doing something that's important to you. This is an especially important lesson for little girls.

Beautiful art work and a well paced story, makes this book a favorite at our house. Angelina gets casted as the Rose Fairy Princess, but learns that she will have to fly across the stage on one thin wire. She tries to seek help with Mrs. Lilly, Alice, and even Zivo. The story unfolds well and my daughter was reassured that the adults in her world would not put her in danger - just like Angelina had nothing to fear.

I guess my title says it all, it is a nice Angelina book but thinner and smaller than what I had imagined
