Oh and according to their website this salve can also be used for "cold sores, razorburn, psoriasis, allergies, insect bites, and abrasions."
(Their strawberry lip balm is also wonderful!)
Only draw back and my reason for not giving it 5 stars is this tin is terrible to get open! If you get any balm on the outside it is impossible to get open. I wish the tin had a hinge on it or something to make it easier to get open.
This balm solved all of my problems and is my current favorite. It smells minty, almost exactly like Mentholatum, and is really moisturizing on the lips. I put it on at night before I got to sleep and, lo and behold, I wake up with lips that are actually SOFT. Usually, I settle for a lip balm that just keeps my lips from cracking. But this one actually makes them SOFT. When you put it on, it looks like a gloss, too.
It comes in a jar the size of a half dollar, and it'll last for FOREVER. You can use the balm to moisturize your cuticles and dry, flaky areas of skin, if necessary, though I would recommend keeping use of the balm to your hands and lips. Overall, it's a good, versatile buy that actually works.
Smith's minted rose is great. It does not transfer color to your lips, the scent is mild and not perfumy - it's definitely not too "girly" for my manly man. One minor warning - this product might be a bit softer than you're used to. Approach with a gentle swipe, no need to press!

The fragrance of the lip balm is as much a reason for use as the softening properties. Brings a bit of summer along that is not an overpowering floral note. Read morePublished 2 days ago by domestic diva

I'm obsessed with this stuff, and it is much cheaper on Amazon than in stores like Sephora! The tin is not that hard to open in my opinion, just takes some getting used to. Read morePublished 9 days ago by c10hg3

I love love love this balm as it's very buildable as the day passes, and it lasts even when I drink water and eat food. Then tint is just right as it isn't too glossy and light. Read morePublished 25 days ago by Wat
