I first saw this book on a CLEARANCE stand at my local bookstore for $10! At the time, I didn't realize what a great deal that was. After leafing through it, I thought that I would buy one and frame some of the prints (they're that good), and keep the other in-tact as a part of my library, but decided it was an unnecessary expense and walked away. Oh, the "coulda, shoulda, wouldas" I suffered for years following that first encounter with this book were horrible! I kicked myself over and over. I couldn't stop thinking of the paintings and how detailed and beautiful they were and how they would have looked framed in my bedroom (I was going through a redecoration). I went back to the store and, of course, they were gone. I've looked all over online and in stores and the prices on the few copies I found were widely varied (for reasons I couldn't understand, not being a bibliophile myself). Well, I found this book on Amazon and eyed it for several weeks before I bought it. I'm on a budget and it wasn't a "need". Then, I decided it was a need based on the literal years I had spent wanting and seeking it. Plus, great art is a need, isn't it?! It feeds the soul.
Don't hesitate! Buy it if you're considering it, you might not find it again for years. Let my experience be a cautionary tale to benefit you! ;0)

Confusing. You think you’re buying the book. You get something different

This was a very confusing buy and needless to say, a very disappointing buy. I was looking to buy one Redoutes flowers books and came across this sell. After receiving product , I thought oh well I guess I just misread the add. And thought I guess I’m just stuck with it now. But now going back and taking a look at it, no I was not wrong. The seller confuses the hell out of you by posting 4 different versions of this product, and apparently 4 different products. What I thought I was receiving was the actual book in spiral format. What I received was a spiral journal, cover of the flowers with blank pages for writing. Shame on the seller for selling like this.
