After further review this tester has failed. Power errors on good power supplies. Even brand new ones. I know I first gave this a wonderful review but after 3 weeks of use it has failed me terribly. Am told by Amazon I no longer able to return the item. So buyers.. beware!!

Contacted Rosewill and they are sending me replacement. I hope it doesn't fail me... but their customer service was AWESOME!!

They guys are Rosewill did a splendid job. Followed up on communications and was very understanding and quick to respond. I take it the original unit that failed me was a fluke and have since reassessed my review and stars for Rosewill. The replacement has given me perfect readings. Have used it to test over 35 power supplies and has not failed me once. Just to be sure.. it is giving me correct readings I double check with a multi-meter and my backup Thermaltake Dr. Power II and all readings have been on the spot!!
Sturdy aluminum construction, LCD display quickly and accurately give the supplies working condition. Good=(blue) Bad=(red) and to .01% accuracy & audio beeps.
only one 4 pin supply can be tested at a time but if one works they all work most of the time.
SATA testing is included. I recommend this tester for your addition to your diagnostic tools. It has a small foot print, can even fit in you pocket. Spend a few bucks more and get this one and stop guessing if your power supply is the problem or not. Its full-prof and of quality construction and will last a long time with normal use.
Sorry if that's confusing to read, point is- this one works better than any other that I've used, and for a really decent price.

the casing is pretty sturdy on this unit the ports on the other hand seem to wiggle a bit which kind of worries me that I might break it. Some read outs are not very accurate. Read morePublished 6 months ago by Jay

Great tester. Display turns RED if something is out of spec. Takes a lot of guesswork out of troubleshooting a power supply. Read morePublished 8 months ago by Siya Esoul
Birght LCD Screen, Good Construction. Works okay with Rosewill Power Supplies but some other third party ones (Such as Hi-Pro supplies manufactured for dell systems) don't work.Published 11 months ago by Pelham Electronic Services
