I build 6 core CPU computers and usually use dual GPU cards in CrossFire and you need a lot of power to do that. I also usually use between 4 to 8 hard drives and a SSD solid state drive for a boot drive in addition to a Blu-ray burner and a DVD burner. To do all that and water cooling and a lot of fans you need a good power supply that is stable and runs cool in the case.

This power supply fits the job perfectly as it features a large 135 mm dual ball bearing cooling fan with blue Led lighting and it runs silently. It comes with the capability of powering both 6 pin and 8 pin PCIe connectors for your GPU cards and has three of each cable so it can handle 3 cards. The unit can power 12 SATA drives, 6 Molex accessory power outputs and 2 floppy power connectors. It can provide 1000W of computer power continuously at 40 degrees C (104 degrees F) and it operates at 85% efficiency.

The main motherboard power connector will work on either a 20 or 24 pin main connector. It has four 12 VDC rails rated at 20 Amps, 20 Amps, 30 Amps and 30 Amps to provide stable and reliable power for all of your system components. It also has an 8 pin CPU EPS power connector for the higher power CPUs in use today. The 12 VDC combined output is rated at 900 W at 75 Amps. The 3.3 VDC and 5 VDC combined output is rated at 180 W capability. This is a monster power supply.

All of the cables are sleeved in mesh sleeving and look nice in the computer case. The power supply also has over temperature, current, voltage power protection and under voltage and short circuit protection to protect your sensitive computer system components.

terrific but a touch on the loud side, this is a semi modular power supply so keep that in mind, it would also have been nice if some of the wires were a lot shorter (I have a small form factor case)

update; the longer length is a large hindrance when it comes to working with a small factor form machine and fan noise is indeed loud enough and such a pitch that it makes sleeping in the same room with a computer with this PSU impossible, all power cables are pretty long which honestly makes wire management difficult

So happy I went with a name brand PSU (finally). This is WAY more quiet than my last PSU for the same exact wattage amount, and seems to run cooler. I sir am a happy camper. I play games, and do 3D renderings so this helps me get all the power I need.

So far, this P/S has met and exceeded all my expectations. The brand Rosewill has an excellent reputation in the industry and I thought I'd give them by business for the first time. The only fault I can find with this product is that the owner's manual is rather skimpy on what specifications apply to individual power couplings, i.e., which PCI-e (6) should connect with a primary video card and which to an auxilliary card for say, a 20-pin USB 3.0 4-port header card. I'd rather have not experimented but it went well anyway.

I had bought a Seasonic which to my understanding was supposed to be the best brand in power supplies, but it died after just 2-3 months of light to moderate use. No overclocking, no monster GPU, just average gear. So I bought this Rosewill hoping it would perform at lease as well as the Seasonic.
Well this Rosewill actually surpassed my expectations. It has been performing perfectly for months now. I have always liked Rosewill parts but after this experience I love them. They have me as a customer for life. I don't care what those bogus reviews on the internet say about other brands anymore. I seen all the proof I need first hand.

Save yourself time and money, Buy Rosewill for solid performance and quality.

Got this 1000W for the lighting, not going to lie haha. But it far exceeds my pc requirements which is intentional to avoid any overdraw/damage to the system. Comes with a very professional bag for all your sata, molex, etc that you may not use. I love it honestly. Currently powering:

MSI H81M‑P33 MoBo
i7 4790
Strix R9 390x
6 SATA drives
Various peripherals
3 case fans
Bluray burning Drive

Never runs loud or hot, love the glow! More than enough for the high end of the Mid range tower, just under l33t status. Will be using it in my next SLI setup as well.

This power supply does everything I expected it to do. I was able to remove my old and very dead MACH 1 1000 W power supply and install the new Rosewill power supply in under an hour. My only complaint is the connectors are not color coded. If they were, I would have installed the Rosewill PS in under 30 minutes. The extra time was spent triple checking each connection in my mother board, video card, sound card, hard drives etc. as well as triple checking the connectors to the PS - did not want to kill my PC.

I'm actually happy that I took the extra time to triple check everything because the unit started my PC up without a hitch and has been powering my PC now for a little over a month with no hiccups. Make sure you take the time to insure each connector is correctly installed at both ends - to the PC and to the PS. This thing if done incorrectly can fry your mother board or peripheral device in a split second. Overall I'm really happy with this Rosewill unit.
